One of the most delightful interviews with a superb actor.

I am so used to thinking of him as so dignified and upright, so I was not prepared for the miming in the “what are we doing” section. 😂

Easily one of the best interviews on the podcast! 😂 Oyelowo is a treat

I've never seen an interview with him. That was easily one of the realist and funny interviews ive seen in a short while. Seems like a really nice person.

I imagine David's wife and his late father got along like gangbusters. Same savage sense of humor.

Easily your best podcast ever. I heard it in its entirety first before seeing the clips and now better understand why. Oyelowo is humble, genuine and absolutely loves performing. So much so that whether or not he or anyone else was aware, he treated this appearance as a performance. The table is his stage, Conan a fellow actor and critically, the audience is not just us. That generous courtesy is extended to Sona, Matt and the others in the room. What the audio could not capture fully were his frequent overtures, glances and connections to Matt and Sona, he was performing for them and it showed. He also has great causes and this serves to make him more endearing. Wonderful stuff!

If you know what role his wife played in Alice in Wonderland, it makes the man boob story even more hilarious.

They say Olivia Coleman can switch into character in a dime. She's brilliant after Action, then after Cut is immediately talking to people about their weekend plans.
