While I believe an occupied population can still commit war crimes; I really don’t think it’s nearly as bad as what the occupier does. Especially when the occupier has satellites and fighter jets. The people of Gaza have been a captive population since Israel’s settlements in Gaza and more so after the Gazans booted out the Israeli settlers in 2007. Since then there’s been a land, air, and sea blockade with Israel periodically going on high tech murder sprees they call “operations” every election year.

I always read that in 2005 the illegal settlements in Palestinian territory were dismantled but everything else was rule by Israel as before. Passports, currency, borders (including wirh egypt), gas, oil, water, electricity, construction materials, the sea, aerial control, food, aid, medical supplies, and many more. This ceasefire was presented in May. The Netanyahu Government has refused to sign any deal. Many in Government do not want to accept a ceasefire to get their remaining hostages back. Also, don’t forget that H**** offered to give back all of the hostages the day after if they did not respond with military force. They could have made a deal and then proceeded to attack. How many hostages were killed by airstrikes? If that was my family, I would be absolutely furious.
