Why 3 tubes you ask? One is intake for the engine, One is intake air for the belt / clutch system cooling (must stay dry or belt slips, cant be sealed or it overheats), the third is exhaust air from the clutch / belt compartment. The engine exhaust does not need to be above water as the pressure of the spent combustion gases keep water out. Many of them are designed to hold a bubble that prevents water from entering even if the engine is not running when the exhaust is under water.

I couldn't tell if that was just a big flooded bog-hole, or part of a small river. Looks fun, but what about other waterway users and fishers (let alone the fish), having to deal with all that turbidity in the water? Do other people have to use that crossing, now that deeper channels have been cut with those impressive looking tyres? Usually I despise the whining 'greenie' type, but they'd have a point here.

1 piece at a time man. It also depends on the build. Some trucks are put together with rebuilt parts out of the junkyard, scrap metal, and a whole lot of time and skill that keep the cost down. Some are built by a team to offset the cost by dividing it. Some farmers with tons of land take their overhead and put it into their builds. And well, some southern people aren't as broke as the media makes them out to be. I also know guys who work normal 9 to 5's, drive shit boxes, live in trailers and take bank loans out for major drivetrain components or tires or tools and pay them off over time. Then just put the hard hours in to learning how to build them. So.. many ways to do it.. People who are determind enough will find a way to make it happen.
