Rushing to hospital in the nick of time will never save the patient firstly. The doctor can't do any emergency treatment in cases when patient is supposed to be immediately shifted to ICU.
@stuutiverma4 жыл бұрын
@@contactkashif how do you know they didn't have money to afford a healthcare for their own father who is into various business across the city. Secondly not once did they mention that they ever approached ILBS hospital which was the Delhi government autonomous body declared as Covid centre during the initial lockdown itself. Thirdly, they themselves said they chose to quarantine the patient at home based only on online doctor consultation till the patient actually collapsed. Thirdly if you are getting treatment from Ganga Ram hospital why are you thinking of switching it in the last minute. It is the responsibility of the Ganga Ram hospital administration to admit the patient with priority. Fourthly, the patient was BD already instead of their claims that hospital didn't attend. If it wasn't a BD case no government hospital can countersign a patient certificate as per their own wishes. Postpartum karvate to rule out the exact time of death. But the relatives didn't do their bit at all. I feel pity for the patient. This is heartbreaking. As a medical student living in Spain with one of the best healthcare systems in the world, thousands of people have already died and things are getting worse in the past two weeks, I can't imagine the situation in India. I think preventive medicine is a HUGE issue in developing countries, not much is done in advanced because "why spend money before the catastrophy mentality" but it can certainly lower the burden on health systems in these kind of situations. Also, a universal health system hospitalizes an economically poor but critical patient and sends home to rest a richer patient with mild/no- symptoms, not to say that the HOSPITAL is the worst place to be in the world (if you came with 1 infecction, you are probably going home with 3-4 ). GUYS, don't go to the hospital unless necessary!! Lastly, I am so so tired of all the pseudoscience that circulates the media and half the population belives it, it's crazy!! Doctors are not even paid salaries on time. They workfor 36 hour shifts. Not enuf nurses / ward boys/ or even diagnostics(which have no capacity to scale) and till now .....u guys never actually questioned the govt. Doctors are overworked, beaten many times by angry patients...that they lose respect for you....as a person...that they don't really care what you go thru. Did you ever question the conditions that docs or nurses work in healthcare before the pandemic? Now everyone is an activist. Even now....this family member blames a doc....but not the govt for the infrastructure they are provided to work with. Lots of love and power to you for sharing this experience ❤ my heart goes out to you and your family.. i and my family have also faced a Similar situation with the health care system and trust me they don't treat u well as much as they potray it to be..problems go unheard and sometimes death seems better than facing those problems.. i was fortunate enough that we all came out safe..but i realized one thing, no one absolutely no one takes your responsibility..not the government not the healthcare system..its true.

Why are you blaming healthcare providers? Did they bring this disease? Did they vote incompetent and ignorant politicians in power? Did they elect politicians who promised everything except good healthcare, sanitation and eduction? Are those healthcare providers not humans? Did they nit die in line of duty? Dont be an entitled princess. Look within and search for answers. Pandemics came and went. Pandemics will keep coming in future. Question is are we going to remember its lessons and willing to change ourselves or are we just going to make empty emotional and impotent noises

I agree not all are same But few questions are still unanswered why didnt hospital treat during emergency when the hospital was showing beds? Why hospital were charging so high? They were keeping dead bodies in a inhumane and unhygienic way.

The last line it's better to die at home rather than running after every hospital. That's the amount of trust we have towards the health care system. This line will broke many people. But just a simple question we don't ask for the hospital and education from govt. We don't give vote on this basis. Every state has colapsed except Kerala I think. The state election are coming. Kindly see the election campaign and the winner. You will know we are the person who are responsible for the failure of health care. May the soul rest in peace.

This is a typical family in Delhi, just like lakhs of families thinking that this in will never happen to us. I felt it was my sister and this is happening to me. But the reality is that its happening to so many more middle class families who are dignified people, but don't have connections. The last statement made by the gentleman makes all the sense. We're on our own. There's no system or process to rely on. For them it's just a number, just a data, just another addition to the death list, but the life of the entire family would never be the same again. Thank you to this family for making this story heard. May uncle's soul rest in peace. More power to the family.

This family deserves compensation and an open public apology from Delhi Govt as well as the private hospitals. Both of them collectively failed this family. This is the situation in our national capital. It sends shivers down my spine to imagine what is the state of affairs in the hinterlands of our country.

In our case they called 3pm where our patient died around 8am morning same day and we waited almost 24 hrs just to collect body.. Don't know who is wrong and who is right in this pandemic but in reality is "You don't know the pain of losing someone untill you face the same situation" It is really heartbreaking

Other states are no different. My complete family became positive. We tried everything, then we realised the country is not even 10% ready to handle this. By god's grace everyone of us recovered in around 20 days at home. You will never realise until this happens in your family. Everything else in the world can wait. Please stay at home and survive this. I am telling you the helplessness that drives in is something you would have experienced in your life. God bless. Thank you for bringing this up. May your dad's soul RIP.

The reason why no doctor can attend to a corona patient immediately because there are protocols. The doctors need to be in PPE. At any given time, doctors working in corona ward are the only ones in PPE , and they have to manage the whole ward. They can't rush to emergency. First this family wasted time in trying to contact or admit him in private hospital and then in the end the son is saying the last half hour was critical!! This is like trying to blame doctors for a situation beyond their control. They should have trusted the system that helped them, and taken him to LNJP in the first place not as a last resort.
