How Descendants: The Rise of Red Honored Cameron Boyce

The late Cameron Boyce was honored by his Disney family in 'Descendants: The Rise of Red,' five years after he died from complications of epilepsy. Cameron played Carlos, the son of iconic villain Cruella De Vil, in the first three three movies of the hit franchise.

I believe we all needed that reminder to recognize that even though he's been gone for over five years now, he is still a part of our lives. He's still a part of Descendants, and no matter what happens, we will always remember Carlos, also known as Cameron Boyce. When I first saw this, I cried because it was so heartwarming that Disney honored him. Even though the Descendants won't be the same anymore, we all know that, but we need to remind ourselves that Cameron Boyce will always be a part of our lives no matter what happens. Cameron is the first time I’ve lost someone dear to me. He wasn’t my close friend although that would’ve been awesome, I’ve just grown up with him. seeing him on jessie, descendants and he was even casted for his own show gamers guide to pretty much everything. Cameron was getting casted left and right for so many cool things and his career was at its peak .. then he was taken from us. I don’t think I’ll ever understand why it’s always the good ones who go first. from ages 6-13 not only was he my childhood crush but my role model. i even wanted to meet him one day but the only i can do that now is through the afterlife if it exists. rest in peace Cameron, i love you forever. ❤
