I’ll back you up on that. I really do love Cookies and Crime videos and I was so excited to hear this video (Jonestown is a case I always like to analyze and research). However, that comment just…rubbed me the wrong way. I’m a Christian too and i hate how figures like Jim Jones make us seem delusional and stupid. Let’s just look through the case and put the blame on Jones’ shoulders. He is the one who brainwashed these poor people and lead them to their deaths. 😢

Could we also give some credit to Jones’ two sons, Steven and Jim? They were in Georgetown for a basketball game and Jones called them to kill as many people then kill themselves but Steven and Jim refused and tried their hardest to get back to Jonestown to stop their father……only to lose everyone they loved.
