It must be a two silver starting type of year. Well done mate. There is nothing that puts me in a grumpy mood than the death of a pinpointer. We do rely on them heavily. Only second to the detector. I run rechargeable 9volt batteries in the profind 40. Always have a spare with me. Good luck on the next one mate 🦘🦘😁👍❤️

Nice one Marcus, and a cracking start to 2025!! (Btw I love going old-skool and *not* using my pinpointer if I'm honest ;). ...That 1st silver *cud* be a hammered, but perhaps more likely a Love-Token? - usually a William iii silver sixpence - and the 'defacing/wiping clean'ish' might account for how thin it is... Then, like you say, bent into a rough s-shape... (I bizzarly found 4-in-the-hole of those last year! All 1695, and currently residing with my Flo... 😅🤓). Anyways, well done and great viewing as ever... Bobby 🙏🏻

Sorry for the slow reply Bobby mate! Hope all is well. I take my hat off to anyone going old-skool and not using a pinpointer. Great fun but bloody hard work after a while.....especially with that frozen soil!hehe I'm pretty confident it's not a Willy 3 sixpence, as it's much smaller than the other love tokens I have....and there are a number of faint dots around one edge like a hammered coin! That said, we will probably never know for sure.....Oh how I would love to find multiple silvers in one hole! Lucky man!! Thanks as always my friend! Stay groovy!

Yeah, I think I dig (mainly) without a p/p as a sort've 'old man's excuse' to take a rest... 😆 I really am *Dog Slow* but still always seem to find summat in the day... 🤓 Those 4 silvers came up on two seperate days btw! I know that smacks of bad checking, but they really were super faint on Max'ed out settings 😇 Hilariously tho', they've gone down as 2 seperate 'hoards' (even tho' all were in a 1m/sq. radius!). Lastly: It's all given me a Fab opportunity to flirt shamelessly with my Flo, (on whom I have a colossal crush). The near constant giving-and-receiving of love tokens between us, has led to some lovely, (tho' alas fruitless), romantic comedy!!... 😂 Ha, anyways, thanks again mate, and look fwd to vids yet-to-come, Bobby 🥰

Good work Marcus, couple a keepers there mate. Shilling was 1866, nice early one. I completely lost track of my silver count for 2024, and still have about 8 videos to upload from last year. 2025 silver count though is 2 !!! In fact, every time I find silver this year am gonna message you to help me keep track 🤣

Nearly right Conner! If you stick around until the round up you will see I identify it as a 25 centimes from Belgium 1922. Nice coin....always amazes me how coins like this find their way into the UK fields! Thanks for watching mate
