I think they should make it that if the detective goes outside at night, their protection potion wears off. Anyone who can see names at night, should have the potion wear off once they go outside. Risk-reward.

Agreed... Your ability is basically broken if u can see names for the price of a potion. Then you get protected and they legit can't do anything to stop this.

Honestly in that scenario/Detective in general should just be that you can only reveal 1 person during the night or even protection potion doesn’t work outside of your house

If I recall that situation with Exray, he wasn't actually the detective but the ritualist which is why they could see multiple names. I believe the detective role only sees the first person they encounter at night. I'm not sure why the stranger roles should be able to see names during the night though.

I guess the real question is why is it important for the ritualist to see the names though, they are solo anyway so everyone is an enemy. I guess it's relevant so they can voodoo people? It's only new though, so I'm sure we won't see it being an issue as people get used to the role and don't out themselves to ruin the conspirators game lol.

Im curious and by this point I feel it wont ever happen naturally, so might as well ask. When you guys do enough tasks, you get the fog (evil) or the 'stay awake at night' (good), but the quest bar is only half full when such trigger. What happens if you get all the way to the end? Is that a task win for that side?

you could balance the Detective by reworking his ability that he can only recognise conspirators if they hit him with an axe (and he can now tank 2 axe hits). It lets you do a bit of a bait and play game at night.

Abit late to the party but, wasn't it the detective only can see bad guys that have been caught by the snare trap previously (idk if its a bug). Same thing last time SR played but somone stated that others at night were unknown and the one the trap they could see. Example being Kaif got snared night one so he was visable to the detective at night for the rest of the game. Hey i could be wrong but just going off what i see.
