In Sid's room the poster is on a "roof wall" (angled, slanted, diagonal, oblique,...) and the poster from the room in Monsters Inc. is on a normal straight wall. Pixar uses so many things in multiple movies, sometimes more subtle than other times. They truly are the easter egg masters.
