Almost at level 20 for the event with Ghoti atm. Word of warning for prospective fish enjoyers: The deck is not super good going second, they can struggle against a single effect negate depending on the hand and they have very little in the way of removal on their own turn, most of it happens on the opponent's turn. It's definitely not the level of tear or spright in terms of consistency and deck building options, but they're not bad. Now they're probably one of the best at disruptive plays and hilariously have a really good matchup vs tear IF THEY GO FIRST, but they still lose horribly to a full tear field.

After a month or 2 of casually playing master duel just for the events, I started playing serious again to test out this deck. For the first time ever, I've reached diamond status with this and it feels good to beat several tearlaments, especially banishing kitkallos😂

It's better then rogue, way better(It's like high end tier 2), It can even overwhelm tier, and unlike most decks that can beat tier, Ghoti can actually win going 2nd I'm pretty sure.

I enjoy Ghoti quite a bit. I've tried a couple different builds. Superancient Deepsea and an Ishizu / Grass build that puts out some silly turn 1 boards.

Yeah a lot of people in the Ghoti discord are saying to just not run the field spell. It's only good like turn 2 for recovery plays, but can be kinda bricky / minus on turn 1.

Snopios is a deceptively powerful card, make sure you hold him up and don't just windmill slam him. Even without Zep he's a half-decent hand trap that can either get rid of recursive combo pieces and cut the chain, or make sure your Ghoti of the Deep Beyond doesn't get removed from the field in a way that keeps it from coming back. Plus of course the synergy of being able to banish an already used Zep to go straight into a level 8 on the opponent's turn. Also, I know most probably consider him sub-optimal, but Deepsea King Coelacanth is such an absolute bomb if you build for him even a little. my usual summon suite is Fishborg Launcher, Reptolphin Greethys and 2 level 4s, 1 being Lifeless Leafish for the recovery. There are several lines, but start with greethys and a 4 into Whte Aura Monoceros, revive the Greethys who revives the 4 starts you with a free level 7 without losing any board state. Then Launcher + the 4s into Archethys draws you 2 back immediately, bring back launcher into a level 10, then greethys and coelacanth into a second level 10 + the Monoceros is a bare minimum. You can take other lines like Launcher and Coelacanth into Dragite if you're worried about backrow.

Answer for 13:35 Eanoc is the way to recycle Ruby as it special summons a level 4 or lower monster from banishment when it is normal or special summoned. However, it is mostly a brick. You might run it at 1, and bring it to the field by: 1) Effect of Paces 2) Ghoti Chain (Trap card) 3) Tribute summon (not optimal, but not that hard either) In any case, you might note that Ruby will return negated (still a level 2 tuner body for the Deep Beyond, but no by its own effect), but as it will go the graveyard when it leaves the field, you can banish it again, And then it will be active! Finally, running 3 Ruby and 3 Snopios might be worthy, considering that openning both + another fish is a turn 0 Whale or Askan, allowing to destroy or banish problematic monsters (such as Kitkallos or Exterio) and preventing a full endboard.
