How did Pakistan team stackup against New Zealand in 1st T20I

Excellent effort from blackcaps at Auckland to beat Pakistan Comprehensively in the first T20I.
Daryl Mitchell, Chapman and Allen did it for kiwis in the batting while Williamson anchored the innings.
Pakistan in reply looked very flat as Saim Ayub was the only threatrning player. Babar anchored the innings but no one after saim looked that attacking and relaxed.

No dislike to Saim Ayub he played very well👍 but 330 strike rate 8,9,10,11,12 balls pr ho jati hai Aisa humne bahuton ko dekha hai. But 25,30,35 balls pr 250ka v strike rate nhi ho pata Aksar. Can't compare babars and Williamsons innings.. Willamson came into bat in the first over and first innings when balls was very slightly swinging and score was 1 (he steadied the ship and held one end) When babar azam came to bat score was 33 runs in 2.2 overs (almost 16 runs per over was the run rate).. Siam gave the perfect platform.. If babar had scored a 15-20 ball 30-40 runs.. That innings would have been more impact full than what he played today and got out in the 16th over

Why Rizwan is one of the major stumbling block in the growth of Pakistan Cricket? No batsmen from domestic is directly fastrack in Test cricket or ODI, his adaptability to international cricket is first tested in T20. If BCCI wants to assess a dometic performer, he will give him opportunity at opening or no.3-4. Lot of international cricketer gets their debut in T20 now a day, then become a ODI or Test cricketer. If PCB wants to assess a domestic performer they will have to made him bat at no.6 or no.7 or made him wait for Rizwan Babar to rest at T20s. Rizwan best position at T20 is no.4 & no.6 at ODI. PCB needs to impose batting position to Rizwan, if they want to groom batsmen for future.

Pakistan needed RR of 11.35 per over to win which is a strike rate of 189.17. The requirement from the top 6 batsmen in T20 is two fold. (1) Score at least one-sixth of the runs i.e. 38 runs. (2) Score at required strike rate. The role of below six is to compensate for one, maybe two batsman's shortage. Our top six batsmen did not meet both criteria. Siam did not meet the 1/6th bar. Babar did not meet the strike rate requirement. Rizwan, Iftikhar, Fakhar, and Azam did not meet either requirement. Bowling was terrible and so was fielding. PCT played badly in all three areas. On top of that Captainship lacked tactics and management strategy was absent. What does Shaheen mean when he says we played good cricket. If that is the thought process of the leadership then they lack basic understanding of Cricket and do not deserve the responsibility.

One of the major difference between Sarfaraz & Rizwan. Yes Rizwan is better batsman. Sarfaraz knows his limitations while Rizwan wants to Pakistan highest scorer at any cost. Open at T20, no.4 at odi & no.6 at Test or his favourite position. Sarfaraz dont believe in manipulating his own stats, he's very happy to bat at no.7 & grooms a best batsman for the country. He can also come at no.3 or open at flat pitch ko manipulate his stats like Rizwan. Rizwan dont care to promote a better batsmen than him at his favourite position. Rizwan has record of destroying better batsmen. He made a natural opener(Fakhar) no.4. He ensure Iftikhar dont play more than 10 overs in Odi WC. Also in future he will made Haseebullah to bat at no.6, who is one of the talented batsmen & have exceptional shot selection.
