I never understood why men chose the company of men over women until you explained that men can be their authentic selves with their friends. Thank you for helping me understand that dynamic!
@Whitneylaurel7425 ай бұрын
Sane reason a lot of women love the company of their female friends-we can be at ease! No one to impress romantically. We can be purely ourselves 🙌🏽

I feel it's the man's mindset too. If he doesn't want a relationship with you, it doesn't really matter what you do. Some men just want to hit and quit. A man has to Want a relationship and be willing to put in the effort to form one!

I’ve dated a man and he’s not the vocal type but with me he shared details about his life (it took a while but we got there) and one day he suddenly blurted out:” You have this motherly energy that is explosive, you remind me of my mother at times” and I knew he meant it as a compliment! 😭 Best compliment I’ve got from a man so far. I have four brothers and would constantly argue with them. However, after watching hundreds of Mr. Gaskins videos, I tweaked my attitude and learned when to shut up and listen. Thank God it pays off! It’s a pleasure to make people feel safe and at ease with me. Much better than the combative and aggressive lifestyle I used to live before.

Wow I needed this! Your breakdown on why black men dont desire marriage as much as other races was spot on! When we discuss this we get alot of pushback and that black women arent “wives.” But Its more than that- its mindset. I also agree that men “settle” as much as women do but many women dont see it that way.

Thank you for this video Tony. Would you be able to talk about if a man is ready to be exclusive in a relationship but the woman is hesitant? Due to her not wanting to rush things. She likes this man and wants to be with him also. Should she keep the hesitation to herself or would voicing hesitation push the man away? If you could give your thoughts Tony, it is appreciated.

Hey Tony, I love your monologues-so much wisdom and enriching, all the while delivering tough love truths to the female audience! You are changing the world for the good! Some anxiety overcame me though on the part when you said “men do not actually want to marry” so that really answered my question about women having to finesse or manipulate a man to stand in the alter. It just doesn’t sit well with me and I know a lot of women (who would never admit it) who DO have to coax their guy into marrying them. Because how do you know if they really independently CHOSE you to be with them? That is just not my feminine style-it actually gives me much anxiety having to think about “getting” a guy to put that ring on me. Maybe I am not cut out for this world. At the same rate, woman like me have been taught our whole lives not to be desperate and to let the man lead-so, WHICH tactic is it? Maybe a little of both? Sounds pretty desperate to GET a man to marry you instead of just being and let things happen organically. Yet, only in a perfect world that is because I understand why a lot of women out there have to give ultimatums and stuff like that in order for him to formally commit in marriage (I know several female spouses who did that). I’m exhausted trying to figure out society and relationships. On that note, I think subconsciously that is WHY most women have premarital sex these days (I know it doesn’t always work to trap a man but the thought of holding out is so bygone from the era that changed everything in the 60s). So, my question is this: what can you prescribe to those of us who are aware that there is always going to be a better woman around the block for our guy (and in this digital age a man’s eyes are wider than ever)? If we have this truth that you just gave us concerning that a man inherently doesn’t want to settle down (even if he is in love, evidently) then how can we not walk in so much anxiety and tension?? Modern dating feels like a catch22 when it comes to sex: damn if you do try to hold on (give in to premarital sex) and damn if you don’t try to hold on (withhold sex until marriage). There is SO much insecurity surrounding holding out until marriage if they can’t test drive us and we can’t test drive them (goes both ways). I KNOW premarital sex is a sin no matter how normal it looks BUT we are 3 generations in deep from the sexual revolution so go figure that even Christian men and Christian women like myself feel an insecurity about holding back on bed activities. ….Just speaking facts from the singles’ street here!

Being from West Virginia my whole life, YT women is all I know basically. So I’ve been w one for two years now and my parents understand that but ofc they’d love to see a queen but we’re almost identical her and I , but she was talkin ab marriage first couple months of me meeting her. In which like you said in this video , that was foreign to me. Never thought ab marriage in my life for my sake. Bc my mother had four boys and never wanted to be married so I’ve never seen or grew up w that. Overtime my girl really opened my mind and also like you said just being a chameleon everyday adjusting to whatever she likes for our reason this entire time. My lady doesn’t know how to be cooler than me and I told her to be that before we ever actually met and to this day she never could . She just needs me day in day out can’t be without me and the love is there but I do feel smothered some days because I’m not that in love to just be not being able to breathe without a significant other.
