Plus been working on my logo and making texture products as gifts to practise making them and generally collecting ideas 😀

I was interested to see that you had bought the makers yearbook as I had considered getting it but opted for a cheaper planner instead. Oh yes! Definitely move a bit closer! The planner is good, lots to read but will I do it all and read it all, probably not. However the lady, Nicola Taylor, has sent out some good emails already with very great points about pricing etc. I don't think I really need this planner but I do love it and hope, if I even read and fill out a quarter of the questions, it will be good for me. I have filled out the dates for both so hopefully see you at one of them, loved all walking round together, made it such an enjoyable day, speak soon xx

Hi Philippa, I've been watching your videos for a good few months now and seeing you speak about your Etsy shop and how it works is really helpful! I'm just a beginner and love felting, your videos are always helping with ideas and techniques along the way. A few of my friends have said I should maybe open up an Etsy shop to sell my extra pieces because sadly you can't keep everything you make and still expect to have room to make more 😅. I enjoy your videos! Do you calculate a hourly wage? I think we all make about 15¢ an hour! Again, I’m SO envious of the wool and wool fibers available to you. We are so limited in the US. I have to thrift most of my woolen fabric. Happy New Year and much success in 2024. ❤

Yes I do! I try to work out how long an item takes me and charge 8-10 pounds an hour. If I work backwards from my earnings, I do 4 hours a day probably 6 days a week on average. I earnt £1300 clear profit at least each month so that's £13 an hour. I feel very happy especially as I control my hours. It's not always easy but I'm super happy I found needle felting!
