It feels so good to know about such initiatives being taken. Thanks Down to Earth for bringing this to us. But it's alarming that our Indian population is consuming so much dairy products which can act as a loss to our economy in long term due to inefficient use of water and other resources.

Inorder to have organic food, we need this slurry manure. India prodeces only 1% organic food. If more people become vegans, we can never eat organic food as cows will be sent to slaughter houses. Don't do stupid argument about dried leaves as manure, they are very less. Forests survive but not farmlands.
