As we were walking home, more than 15 minutes later, the strong wind had reignited the butts and embers. Fortunately Levi's are virtually fireproof, so we were able to put them out with our hands before the inner layer of denim burnt through. Needless to say, my girlfriend stopped complaining when I gave her a pair of leather jeans for her birthday a few weeks later. 😊
