To answer your question: It's not part of their plan or agenda. These phase characters we see after AVENGERS ENDGAME are the ones they INTENTIONALLY want to be seen. I would have loved for Blue Marvel (played by Dennis Haysbert) to be introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it would have to be after Kevin Feige and his faction left Marvel Studios for good.

Brand new subscriber and already love the content and vibe. I did want to mention my thoughts on why the X-men haven’t been in the MCU as of yet. I have two points…one the failed Fox universe was to recent. I think there needed to be some breathing room before bringing the most important team (imo) into the MCU. I need them to take time and develop a good story. Not rush it. The second part is, Disney +, until Agatha, was in a weird spot. They pushed numbers not quality. They have recentered and refocused. So now would be a good time to bring quality shows for the mutants. Everything will come together in the right time. The last phase of the MCU wasn’t as high quality as other phases. But they are getting back on track. I am excited to see what happens moving forward 😊

I've been saying for years that Blue Marvel should be played by Michael Jai White in the MCU, he's perfect for the role and he can do his own fight scenes. When the mutants finally arrive Mister Sinister won't be far behind, Nick F**king Cage better get the role of the centuries old mad scientist. Alpha Flight needs their own movie, action-comedy like Guardians with Keanu Reeves as Puck, a comic height accurate Puck at that, none of that 6'3" Wolverine stuff. Squirrel Girl should have a tv sitcom as a nanny to a super-couple while trying to break into a superhero career as a sidekick and eventually her own solo movie. Joey King from Bullet Train would be a good choice.

Couple years ago there wss a New Warriors pilot had the AT&T woman as Squirrel Girl, the short chubby asian dude from 2 Broke girls as Microbe. The pilot shopped EVERYWHERE nobody would pick it up. I'd love to see Dr Voodoo and how his magic would interact with The Sorcerers and Choas magic within the MCU and his costume goes so HARD. BLUE MARVEL would be cool especially adding to the Marvel Family, his interactions with Photon and The Defenders would be interesting. I feel tho they've done the unsung hero thing with Isaiah Bradley but another detailed go with BM would be good and its nice to see older heroes but he'd be better for the soft reboot after secret wars. This is how we'll get everything under one roof, X-Men, F4, Avengers, Defenders, Inhumans existing in one timeline that'll just he the norm. If they do X-Men I'd want to see Bishop (he was in Days of Future Past but a side character) je definitely should be a mainstay on the MCU roster with that hardcore veteran from a grizzled future feel, that part of his storyline isn't used enough and with the whole multiverse thing that'd be cool and open the door to a different period of time to explore. I feel they've missed used the Multiverse, i feel Night Thrasher could be cool but I don't know anything about him i feel he'd be too similar to DD and with him getting his own show i see no point to give NT a separate show.

It's a multiverse thing so no one is who they usually are. Exhibit A Robert Downey is now Doom, Michael B. Jordan was a human torch before he was Killmunger, Chris Evans was Human Torch before he was Captain America, Olivia Munn was a reporter in an Iron Man movie before becoming Psylocke. Regular Marvel comics history doesn't apply to the MCU.

Those characters, as a matter of fact, didn't even belong to Marvel at that point (cinematically), so those are bad examples. As far as Robert Downey Jr. becoming an entirely new character within the same universe that everybody recognized him for being a different one, that's also a very strange choice, right? The last sentence you said about the history in the comic books has nothing to do with what's happening in the MCU. That's really the issue that I'm kind of pointing out in this video. Whereas if it did resemble more of that and actually took more characters, then this universe would actually have a lot more legs to it, and they wouldn't be filled with a bunch of shortsighted changes that don't amount to anything.

I would love to see a more grounded new warriors. No Nova, Maybe no Namorita. Rage is fine. Speed ball for the humor. Marvel boy for the abuse storyline, same with Firestar. marvel seems to do best on the less popular properties, so long as they focus on story. I was thinking a Wolfpack mini series with Luke cage, Night thrasher and Storm doing cameos could introduce a new street level series for Marvel TV, that would lead into Night Thrashers series. I would love a DP7 too, but that's another universe.

When I heard about the Marvels movie I asked him about Blue Marvel being in it, and he told me that no one had contacted him. Now we know why. Last time we talked about it, there'd been no talk of bringing Blue Marvel into the MCU. They would'nt know what to do with him anyway. It's better that Blue Marvel, Night Thrasher and others get overlooked by the current MCU regime because more than likely, they would be misrepresented like they done with legacy characters during phase 4. I would be happy if someone like Ryan Reynolds took over from Kevin Feige. I would feel better seeing Adam Brashear integrated into the MCU under his watch. I like what you said about Cage and Adam not agreeing. It exposes the fallacy that all dark skinned people with kinky hair are a monolith that thinks the same things and has the exact same experiences.

The X-Men are a juggernaut of a franchise (pun intended?). They need to be thought out carefully, have the ramifications explored in detail so we get it right. I'm not sorry they are late, provided they use the time properly. What I want most (and won't get) is a Squadron Supreme movie. Maybe a trilogy.

@AceJoker1300 Simply introducing them is one thing; timing is another. The company's value doesn't speak to their decision-making because the last two phases haven't been like the first three. We can admit that they've had many bad ideas, which have led to low ratings for the shows and even lower returns when it comes to many of the movies, especially compared to what they've spent to make them.

You have to put into the equation that there's a clause with the Fox studios X-men actors which is along the lines of no other actor is allowed to play that character on the big screen. Its why Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart was brought back. That clause expires somewhere in 2025. Kevin wants younger actors that can appear for at least another ten years as that character without visibly aging too much. I think that's the main reason we haven't seen more X-men at this stage. As well as the skateboard connections, Night Thrasher is a slang term for masturbating, so maybe Disney isn't so eager to go for that option. Similar situation with Nova being Rick Ryder (Dick rider). The other 2 teams i would use is Squadron Supreme from one of the multiverses. This could be the closest we get to Avengers vs Justice League on screen. The Invaders. We;ve already seen Jim Hammond as an easter egg and we have Namor now. The team had other people as Captain America after Steve Rogers was frozen, so that gets around the issue of Chris Evens not wanting to play the role again. Union Jack's alter ego was introduced. Add in Whizzer, Miss America, Spitfire ect. With it all being prequel stories, theres no preassure on making it tie in too closly to the current MCU

@@enterthenerd3591I’ve always assumed there was some sort of ticking clock clause more particularly with the producers of the Fox X-men more so than with the actors hence why Marvel took forever to introduce the X-men because why wouldn’t they go from Avengers to X-men, it was a no brainer. What I never liked was them not coming out and just saying that to the public but there may have been confidentiality issues in said contracts perhaps.

@meadowroad9459 i think it's because those don't exist. There arent any contracts that I've been able to look up where a particular actor has to play. Because there were always rumors about people playing Different things. I mean, Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy are both sharing professor x, just in different timelines. So it doesn't really make sense for that to be a thing. Sometimes the most obvious answer is what it is and not like something convoluted, like a contract or a clause that no one can even confirm. I think it's just that have had a ton of bad ideas and them, not including the x men so far, is one of them.

Mcu has not made much references to the new warriors. The new warriors should have been introduced B4 Ms.marvel,Kate bishop,wiccan,patriot etc. Cloak and dagger should have been introduced to the mcu long B4 any young avenger. Mcu are introducing 2000s and 2010s characters before legends like iron fist, power man, hellstrom , power pack, living lightning, tigra, the shroud etc. Mcu is turning a majority of there characters into goof balls.

That's what I've been saying. Marvel are introducing the 2000s characters nobody cares about before old school characters that were really successful. Give us Nova, Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Blade and New Warriors. I could care less about Young Avengers and Ms Marvel. Give me the old school badass characters first.
