This video SOLD us on this model. We purchased it this spring and ABSOLUTELY love it. In fact, this video and purchasing this model, started an RV addiction! Ha. More on that later. For our family, we have driven hundreds of miles and camped in this. We have four little kids and they all cozy up in the front dinette. We LOVE the separation of the master bedroom. You asked about the AC, it cools like a dream. We have boondocked in state forests, stayed in state parks, you name it and it has worked wonderfully. When boondocking, the solar panel will keep the lights and fridge running for about two days, if it's sunny. We added another supplementary 200 watt, which keeps everything, even the heat, going, without an issue. So far, so good, anyway. Now, the fun part. We loved this so much, that we decided to start renting it out and it spread like wildfire! One month later, an LLC, two weeks after that, we bought another unit (NoBo 10.7-love that one too), and now have expanded to Snowmobiles, ATV's, ice fishing gear, and are looking to expand the RV fleet in the spring. Our guests have run this thing through the ringer. It's been towed by a Ford Explorer and smaller pickup without issue, hosted weddings, anniversaries, reunions, kids' first ever camping trips, you name it. Groups of all sizes, from couples to families, are loving this thing. As a stay at home/homeschooling mama of 4 who was trying to find a way to use my skills to help support my family, this has fit the bill and then some. We love it and so do our customers. Thanks so much. Will be studying your videos before purchasing another unit or three next year.

I've restarted this video three times because I've had a hard time believing they put all that into a 23ft x 7.5 space. Main thing that would make it better would be a 2nd axle for a bit more weight capacity and more controllability. But I really like this. Would really like a real oven, but I suppose they have to give up something.

I noticed 2 axle RVS don't always equate to more carry capacity. For whatever reason they just use lighter axles... Its a major turn off....

As one who avoids slideouts at all costs, this one broke the mold for me. Love the bedroom for t's size, access to the bed and storage. One thing I would like to see is a desk option under that window where the drawers are, maybe a pull out or add on counter top? An office in a private bedroom just seems to be a coollio idea, idk. Also like the location of the bedroom window. It makes for a nice view from the table and creates a light and roomy feeling to this smaller TT, cha cha cha. If this was a tandem axle it would totally fit the bill! Thanks for the tour, you have a great day as well.

This is perfect for a single person, or a couple (watching as I write this, you're right, a single parent with 2 smaller kids would be perfect for this) who want to travel light, but not lose all amenities. This is a very nice plan. Josh, you're a salesman. You're here to sell product. OTH, you've learned the lesson that very few people in sales actually learn. If you talk about the warts, along with the beauty marks, and come across as a genuine guy, giving the bad with the good, you end up selling far, far more than most used car salesmen ever could. I'd rather buy from someone who is reasonably honest (look you're a in sales FFS) I will be far more willing to fork over a bit more than I wanted to spend because honesty sells far more than the opposite! I really do appreciate what you do. You've given me far more options than I'd ever thought I'd see. I've done a lot of research on what I want...but your videos have really opened my eyes to what is available and possible for what I want to do. Thanks for that.

Thank you for another good review Nerd! One thing I love about the RV world is that there is something for everyone. I love the layout here. I’ve met people at RV shows who are looking for smaller towable trailers because they’re not comfortable towing a big trailer and I think this one gives you a lot of bang for your buck. It’d also be great for 1 or 2 people who aren’t necessarily spending much time in their unit once they reach their destination. I agree 100% with the deficiencies you pointed out with the toilet, air conditioning, and lack of an entry door window. Other than that, I’d rather see large drawers on the bottom of the bedroom vanity vs the totes. Very interesting unit. Thanks for sharing!

Not only for people who aren't comfortable towing a big trailer, but for we off roadies. I want this in an Ember. I just don't care for slide outs, especially in an off road where smaller is better, but I want separate comfortable sleeping areas for 2-3 grown adult full & plus sized people, full bath (not wet), in a 20' max TT aka Ember. Storage in this is nice, but not that necessary. We're minimalists when we're out. We don't need a full closet. I can toss my jeans and supplies in a backpack. As a 66 year old senior citizen, though, I want a comfortable bed not only for myself, but also for my 1 or 2 other crew members.

Regardless of the fact that one might appreciate new different and rare distinguishe approaches, this floor plan really has its advantages. I mean look at the bedroom closet for such a small camper, and as the majority will agree with tandem axle one can feel free to fill all storage with ease. Thank you Josh for this round up video.

Wow! Great floor plan, dinette is a winner for sure. Would Like a pocket door(s)for bathroom- bedroom. Agreed. Toilet on angle is an easy modification . Bedroom Storage is great. I would like a standard queen but it workable. Kitchen is good and a combo microwave-oven would be a must. The grill is ok. Would probably pullout and utilize the space for storage. And an outdoor shower is so nice. Loving this trailer. Really great one!

My wife and I are about 80% sold on this. The non-ducted AC is a bit of a drawback, but we do really like the floorplan. We have a suggestion about a modification we'd like to see. It comes in two options. The first is replace the U-shaped dinette with and incliner faux cinema seat (or an actual cinema seat) with the small tables that slot into the cup holders. I figure the faux cinema seat with incliner would help preserve the front storage area. That's not our preferred option. Our preferred option is our second one: put a Murphy bed in the bed slide and make the couch a faux cinema seat with incliners. This allows the bedroom to do double duty as a living room. Kinda like that one floorplan by Freedom Express. If incliners are too weight intensive, then maybe put some small ottomans under the couch.

For the size, i see NO negatives! Always prefer double axle in anything but a small utility trailer but I'd totally take this just the way it is. Small fan to help circulate a/c air to the (awesome) bedroom if need be. We love this unit! I'd keep the griddle too.

This really should be an 8' wide with a tandem axle to allow for greater carrying capacity. If they put a fold down Pullman berth in the front, this could easily work as a pretty remarkable family camper too. Other than that, this is fantastic.

Back when they introduced these smaller plans I was like "whoa" and through this vid I definitely kept that "whoa" impression. Josh: In my opinion, the griddle is marketing fluff. I’d go for storage every time. It’s not under the awning and it looks like the door side forward drip spout is right over it. If I want a griddle, it’s stowed in the tow vehicle and deployed under the awning. As to the table support, one thing I’d do is liquid nail a vertical backer 2x4 or 2x6 in the basement and then attach the table mount to it. Even though I’m a committed slide adverse member of your nerd herd, if the manufacturer verifies that the bed slide is usable in transit, then I’d give this 2022 Salem & Wildwood 169RSK a passing grade on the rolling bed, head and mess truck stop/rest stop standard. The standard truck parking space width is 15’ wide. If you know, what is this trailer’s overall maximum width with the slide deployed,? Respectfully, W.S.

OK Josh.... I am impressed with this one.... For what it is, at the price it is (under $25 @ most stores)... You have my attention sir! 4000 lbs trailer, with just under 1k cargo. Sitting on a single axle with a 43 gallon fresh tank. Then the bathroom on here, (although, I'd have to twist that toilet placement a bit if I got her) I honestly think you have a big winner here!!! I really wish the AC was central, but I also understand what that would do to the size and the roof construction. Besides, this unit would most likely be ment for a couple, so the doors probably wouldn't stay closed much (or is it open when its a bath like that? 🤣). I like the Bluetooth radio, finally!!!! Yes sir, this one checks some good boxes for me!!!

Love this one so much! The bed slide is AMAZING and has a back window view (I often camp with an ocean view at the back of the trailer that goes unappreciated from the inside🥰) plus north/south breeze windows 👌🏻 dual axles would be nice but I understand the reasoning for a single and it’s doable. Being a lone wolf traveler the large dinette is less useable but you show it’s got the ability to lounge while watching tv. It’s also a good guest bed option. Great kitchen and a decent bathroom (the toilet really should be angled though, not sure why that wasn’t done 🤔) The unducted a/c is a mistake without a doubt and nearly a deal breaker, I hope they correct that and the toilet in future models. I miss any music references though! 😂

I agree with you if you're gonna have compartment living you need ducted AC period also it's a small camper so it would be nice to have pocket doors if we can and I would rather have storage than a griddle. 1.put outdoor cook slide out under awning. No one wants to cook in the sun! They can afford losing some storage space in dresser area of bedroom. CCC only 900 lbs. this will also make for a true pass through. 2. I’m from South, no way can that AC cool that back bedroom with door closed for privacy. 3. Make bedroom window bigger under TV connection! That is the camp side window! 4. Love you table - add folding legs to it, idea. 5. Love huge dinette! Especially for adult friends! EXCELLENT DESIGN! My definite second choice-Thanks Josh!

Its literally the size of my phone, yes, it's a bit thicker than my phone, but honestly, it doesn't take much of a shelf in order for it to sit on. So, if your phone can sit on it (like on top of the valance, then the C-pap mini can sit up there)...

This is a nice little camper. I'm over the "farmhouse decor" but at least it's not brown on brown on brown and I can add colorful bedding and throw pillows and they won't clash. I'd like to see an oven or a convection microwave but I get that they're trying to stay within a budget. I LOVE the U-dinette, especially in such a small camper. I do see where they missed an opportunity for adding a shoe garage underneath the door-side bench though. Road Mode is awesome too, especially if the bed slide can be occupied for the rest area nap that I know Husband will need. The bathroom is a complete deal-breaker for me though. I'm not fond of walk-through bathrooms anyway but I could live with it if the toilet was reoriented and there was a little more storage for towels and other bathroom essentials. A couple of drunken octopus hooks aren't quite enough although they are appreciated. Neither Husband or I is likely to use the outdoor griddle so I'd trade that for more basement storage so I can bring along my convection toaster oven. (Gotta have that pizza :-) )

TY for that trade-off info. The griddle sort of seemed an odd find to me there. I like the idea of the LP quick connect but I think maybe that's enough to let people choose their own adventure basically

(Unless I decide to take my camper out on a Sasquatch hunt and need to broadcast Sasquatch calls) I really hope I will see more brands ditching the outdoor speakers very soon.

An alternative use for that storage space in the bedroom with the bins- Nice area for a small dog bed, kitty litter area. I do like the storage in here. Like others I have no use for the outside griddle. I cook on the campfire. I’m sure this geared to a certain price point, but I’d like to see this in an Azdel, tandem axle.

I thought I was sold on the east to west della terra. But this one is perfect for me as a single person. If one of my adult children come to visit I can accommodate them for a weekend. OMG! I have never seen anything like this in such a small package. I love the large, open feel bedroom. A black tank flush at this level of a camper? Love it. The deal breaker for me, is the non ducted AC. HOWEVER, is it possible to have another roof mount AC installed in the bedroom? Assuming this is a 30amp camper, I know only one AC could be used at a time. If so, this would be a great traveling camper.

Gimme that storage!!! Even if I were to carry my griddle in that spot, I'd rather have the space. It's kinda growing on me but I'm drawn to another variation of it I see on their website. They definitely need to set the throne cattywampus in the bathroom. I'm also wondering if a power tower might be a better option in the corner of the kitchen counter? Not sure if it's feasible due to cost and what's required to do it.

This floor plan with tandem axles, a bigger fresh water tank, and dual 30lb propane tanks for some extended off grid camping. I prefer a bbq over the griddle. It would be convenient to access the storage under the bed from the outside with hatch in the slide. Kind of like my Cougar 27RBS.

I really like this floor plan. I think an 8ft wide would be a little better and a tandem axle would help with the weight issues. I would also like more boondocking options, is it generator preped? Also, a shelf above the windows in the bedroom would fix the CPAP resting area for sleeping. Most of my camping would be off grid so I look at all of these options.

This is one is fantastic. Its a little different , and I love that. I'd say make it laminated, 8 feet wide on tandem axles, but I know that's just not what this trailer is. Its nice that it comes with a griddle but mounting it in the pass thru seems annoying, its not even under the awning. Bluetooth speaker is a win in my book. We exclusively use a bluetooth speaker outside and having a dedicated mounting/charging space would be nice to have

That is impressive! Love the U shape dinette & full bathroom. Nice. But it doesn’t have the Gas station Murder Hobo sunroof window. Ember still comes ahead just for that feature. Ember needs something like this. No slide outs though.

Sorry to say something bad, but last year, while shopping for an rv, Wildwood was my number 1 by far for a lot of reasons, especially for floor plan but after seeing it in real and saw the build quality... seeing lights trough the door frame (1/2 inch), opening the storage door and there was a gap between the floor and the walls that allow water to get in (1/4 inch) and other major flaw in quality built. I had to go to another brand, still a Forest river, but the built quality was way better. Still, thanks a lot for all the job you do for reviewing and showing us our choices !

I was thinking that it would be awesome to switch that dinette out for theater seating, recliners, or a sofa but after seeing you sit in it, I am not sure it's necessary. Might still be nice to have two recliners in there for just the two of us with maybe cupholders in the arm rests and the ability to have the cupholder trays to use for eating if necessary. I really like the small size because it's just the misses and me and this would be easier to fit in the driveway at the kid's houses when we go to visit and slurp off their electricity and water. :-) LOL!
