bbbarfly I'm convinced uses magic to assemble his balisongs because everything is cranked and tuned well. i tried tightening my firefly v1 and i snapped a screw, I got new hardware for it but i couldn't get the tap out 😔 also their washers are milled not stamped like traditional washers so barfly washers are omni directional.

Watching this video made me want to pick up my BBFireFly again. It's fun but man are the handles chuncky, especially at the ends. It would be fun to try something a little more standard sometime, like the Barracuda v2 or the Superfly. 🦈

Maybe a speed channeled one. It costs a bit more but has a huge difference in balance and a better sound. You have to make it on squids kraken customizer page.

Question: I have a Baracuda V1, I’m not sure if you flipped one at blade show or if you knew someone who has one. But my question is, is it worth upgrading to the V2 if you already have a V1? 🤔

I did flip one at blade and it was good. There is a difference, but without a side by side comparison I cannot say.
