I wish Vincent could know how much he is loved by the world.

I have so much in common with Vincent, I'm also close to reaching 37 years old(currently 35) and I'm also suicidal.

Hang in there, you never know what you will do and the joy you will experience.

I've gotten to the point where I'm no longer looking for joy, as that turns into a game of looking for the next dopamine kick. There's no force behind my thinking, not even money will get me to change my mind.

@@pullingthestrings5233 THat's not joy, that's happiness or excitement. That is a western conceptualization meant to get people to buy things. Experiencing joy our contentment is what we should truly strive for.

An amazing show, thankyou, Nick. Very moving and sad, but so beautiful. Dear Vincent: he deserved so much better than he got and yet he gave the world so much.

I know its off topic a little but i just love how fast he pained I had a discussion with an old friend a while ago and there mindset was the longer you spend on an art work as in the hrs you put into it makes it worth more or have more value and i dont agree with that its not about the time you put into it its about the effort you put in, you can spend 100 hrs on an art work and it means nothing to you and you can also spend 45 minutes on an artwork and that means the world to you i love how art is subjective but i dont think time equals quality, effort and love for the craft makes up quality in my opinion and Vincent had an enormous amount of love for his caft ❤

Am similar to Vincent in life only thing Vincent could paint I can't ,, A true great painter 🍻

And it did not help that the paint that he was using to create these works of art were laced with lead. It helped to destroy his very being.

Maybe his mother naming him after his dead brother had something to do with it. Going to the cemetery and seeing your name on a grave marker might tend to bother a child. Syphilis didn't help any I'm sure too.

What size were his shoes? Anybody?? Anyone???
@ZachDrake59602 жыл бұрын
I can't be sure, but I read the average shoe size for a man as tall as Vincent Van Gogh is about size 10.
