Great video! One recommendation- just make the Ebook available for being paid through debit Visa cards or the phone wallet- because for example I am Bulgarian obviously I will buy it just to support your work and the fact that you put a smile on my face every time I see you- and in Bulgaria many people would act the same as me - to buy just to support you as influencers - just PayPal here is not popular and preferable at all, unlike UK ❤❤❤ greetings

My comment will have nothing to do with the topic of the video and will be fairly long, also might be a lil bit more self centric than meaningful for a public text :P So I don`t actually subscribe to KZbin channels, I just remember the ones that keep me interesting and yesterday your channel "surfaced" in my mind. I found it... by remembering Phoenix Project (even thou I have some false memory with Nomad Project). Watched all the videos (more or less) since the last one I have seen (was like a month something worth of content). My "answer" to all those videos is a lil bit of update on myself... because you have went ahead and read trough all my "winter blabber" on one of your earlier videos and also as someone living in parallel in the country of Bulgaria... as bread and born Bulgarian (I have studied English, within Bulgaria, longer than I have studied Bulgarian technically. Basically... 1:1 (ish, actually in favor of English as the foreign language that needs more time from 1st to 12th grade and than 2 more years in the University, where because of the education`s focus Bulgarian have already fallen of as a subject. So the tl.dr. is I have 14 years of English study versus 12 years of Bulgarian language study... as a Bulgarian in Bulgaria :P ) However the auto grammar correction do kick in more often than not. Anyways. So I got hired again on my 2nd non for my family job. I think it is slightly more bearable and manageable than my first one and it is more or less what it could be expected for someone with only 12th grade education and no Bachelor`s degree to work, even if on much earlier age... My age for a "fresh" worker of this is fairly ~"advanced"... And what I mean by "this" referring to the job is ~the non food department of a large hypermarket. I have plenty of collogues, majority of whom way more experienced on the job. I already got my first partial paycheck for my first partial month of working... The thing is... Encouraged by it I went trough few needed car repairs and it were also insurance fee payment month... So I am currently, after my first paycheck with less money in comparison to when I began working... Unfortunately I have noticed even working in city environments is expensive endeavor. I have a few days till my next full paycheck (for a full month of work) and it will bump me back roughly to where I were in before I began working... the thing is... than comes the >entire next month< in before the next paycheck :P. Now very hopefully so I will not have those needed car repair expanses... I do want to gradually start accumulating some money. If you blow it all paycheck to paycheck, when an unavoidable expense arises and you have nothing to face it with... it`s a major bummer. No one likes events like that, but no one can deny they tend to happen weather we like them or not. So this is pretty much what`s been going on with me as of lately. Maybe one day if you are around a certain large city of Bulgaria and happen to venture into a certain large hypermarket on the outskirts of it (it`s past the town`s sign), and (lots of ands here) I happen to be having a shift (I work morning and afternoon - evening shifts), obviously not being on a day off either (those are more or less assigned at close to random thought the month to make for the appropriate work/rest days) I might spot you and greet you. Now obviously you won`t be recognizing me, even thou it would be fairly easy if I describe myself... even if there are surprisingly many people that actually do resemble me a lot, in spite of me thinking I have fairly "unique" personal "vision"... anyways. Point being I most likely will recognize you if I see you, especially in the "full team" :P. Peace and as we Bulgarians tend to say (I guess) "With Health". (It`s a phrase used on parting by direct translation, meaning, once again... I guess, you are wishing the person that goes away from you, to do so with his or hers good health) (And now I might go a lil bit too deep... but sometimes you can catch a slightly negative connotation... that is a very awkward thing... You are wishing the person "With Health", but what you are actually saying is "to Hell with you", again in nearly direct translation 1:1 this times BG : GB. Now this is definitely not the case here, is just what I felt like typing at the end). Bye.

Thanks for sharing I have just bought your ebook, biggest challenge for us is finding trusted estate agents, I am in contact with those you have recommended and we are hoping to get out there soon, to really start looking. So with VISA D where you are representing a company from the UK, do you work for a UK Company or are you saying you started a UK company which you work for ?
@the_phoenixproject5 ай бұрын
Best thing to do is send a message to Veselin Valchev from Ideal Homes or Tanya Dimitrova from Visa for Bulgaria. They will answer any questions you may have. It's challenging and expensive but worth it.

Thanks for sharing. Haha there were bound to be outtakes with the key throwing/catching and had a feeling the keys would get caught in the lock! In 2004 we set up our company to later buy our 1st Bulgarian house in 2005. In 2007, Bulgaria joined the EU which did away with the need for the Visa D, and we got a 5 year residency instead. By 2015 (I think) a law came in that allowed EU citizens to own their property, so we closed our company down - it was a real pain doing the annual returns. We have the situation now that one of us has an Irish passport and the other has the British passport. We are yet to find out what happens in that instance and are hopeful that the EU citizen can buy the property and allow the other to live there, although we realise we will own the property 50/50 under Bulgarian inheritance law, so could be interesting for sure!
@the_phoenixproject7 ай бұрын
Yes I think you can do family reunification if it is your partner with the EU passport. The Irish immigration office are very helpful if you give them a ring. They were great when we stared our application!

D. Visa can you explain in detail how you go about applying for a. D. Visa.
So post Brexit you managed to get a Visa D. I did here there was a way but mostly only retirees or wealthy people could do it. Luckily we got residency pre-Brexit as we foresaw this nightmare for people
@the_phoenixproject7 ай бұрын
@@samelsdon620 We certainly aren't in the wealthy category but you are right in saying it is expensive. We've been absolutely destroyed by the financial strain of the visas and residency but it will all be worth it in the long run. We would have moved earlier if we could have 😔
