I'm an old-timer. If you haven't seen the 1973 movie Pappilon, starring Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman, you should. The prison is in French Guiana. It is by far the greatest prison escape movie ever. Early in the film, McQueen is put in solitary confinement. He is in relatively good shape at this point. One morning, he sticks his head between the bars, looks down the cell block, and sees another prisoner. This guy was on his deathbed. He had facial sores, tuberculosis, rickets, eyeballs hanging out, had not bathed in months, etc. You get the picture. He calls out to McQueen and says, "How do I look"? McQueen, not wanting to hurt the guy's feelings, says, "You look good, you look good"! Fast forward 10+ years, and after being in solitary for years, McQueen is now in terrible shape and is on a diet of roaches; he calls out to a new prisoner and asks, " How do I look"? and hears, "You look good; you look good! Such is Diddy's fate! Vodka anyone?
