One of the best things I did on my YZ250 smoker was the gytr SS front brake line. 1000% better than the rubber hose

On Webb’s bike the throttle tube only spins so far…. On Tomacs bike it twists around and around till you spin the earth backwards with the horsepower

I'm glad you pointed out the difference in handlebars. I've always noticed that ET has the taller bars, but they also look quite narrow. Maybe it's just the way he sits/stands on the bike, but I've always thought they look narrower than most other guys. Can you confirm or deny this? Thanks Ping.

I’ve always thought the same thing. Always wondered if they shave them down a little or if Eli is just that much wider of a human 😂 Sextons look a little similar to me, more narrow.

Tomac runs the EVO SX Bend. Looks like he takes about 1/2” off the bar ends, but can’t verify that.

Beautiful bikes! Like that Tomac is stilling running the cable clutch. I know it’s a secret, but it would be cool to see what work is done inside the engine since Tomac said a stock 450 is too slow for him.
@benlondon8467

Cables clutch is rubbish, Hydraulic is self centred & very smooth/plus repeatable. Eli just covered his ass for Yamaha & cable clutch. Wait & see Every manufacturer have hydraulic clutch soon, it is better, essentially bums like me and you 😢
@FastEddy301
@FastEddy301 9 күн бұрын
@benlondon8467 Yamaha offers the hydraulic clutch if you want it. They purposely kept the cable for Eli. Coop is running a hydraulic and Yamaha apparently doesn't have an issue with it. If it came stock with the hydraulic and Eli didn't use it, that would look bad. Eli has stated numerous times over the years that he doesn't like the hydraulic. Eli uses his clutch more than anyone.

@@benlondon8467i hate hydraulic clutches you cant feel the engagement and feel when the clutch is getting hot. Especially when i race some harescrambles going through tight sections and rocky hills you cant feel and slip it as good as a cable. A proper cable clutch is just as easy to pull yhan hydraulic
@benlondon8467
@benlondon8467 9 күн бұрын
@@denniswilder3014 clutch gets hot ,cable clutch gets lots of free play, you need to adjust constantly especially if in tight bush riding, clutch gets hot, Hydraulic clutch self adjusts free play, you don’t need to adjust anything, that’s why I use a hydraulic clutch . And it’s fitting to my YZ450,
@denniswilder3014
@denniswilder3014 9 күн бұрын
@benlondon8467 can easily adjust it on the fly. Only need a little flip. I tried it for a few races and just didn't like it. Sold the kit and put it back to cable

Weight difference with aluminum as far as gaurds on bike compared to weight and durability? Whats a slave cover?
@davidpingree9254
@davidpingree9254 8 күн бұрын
Carbon is slightly lighter, but aluminum doesn't flex as easily, which is why they don't like to use it on skid plates anymore [added rigidity] and it can bend into a position that is problematic, where carbon will just break off.
