they are not interested on loud beats or extravagant dances, they care about quality and they admited as a group not to be the best dancers so I love them more for trying to give their best even in the simplicity.

uh oh can be hard because there’s no set rhythm really, everything just goes with the flow of the song just like regular hip hop dance which i respekt. it’s really fun to just experiment with too, add certain things or take certain parts out and it’s still good

( )I-DLE's selling point never really was the dance, so I'd say this is accurate. It's not that they can't dance, but they're more of a performing, vocal group overall. Out of the remaining members, I think Soyeon and Shuhua are the best dancers, with Yuqi coming in third (when she remembers choreo, lol). Off topic, but I've been wanting to see an ITZY vs EVERGLOW vs PURPLE KISS dance off. (Can you imagine Chaeryeong vs Onda vs Dosie?)

I truly love how they don't put a huge emphasis on doing crazy intense choreo & instead focus more on giving a great performance with high energy, swag & good vocals. I often miss the way 2nd gen didn't need the craziest choreo every second of a song & their performance could stand out & hold up without it. I love some great next level choreography, don't get me wrong. I understand & deeply appreciate the hard work, skill, & talent that go in to the performances with extreme choreography in them. I just don't think it always necessary 100% of the time & companies feeling the need for choreo to be at such a supreme level for every song has gotten a bit out of hand. I would rather see solid, strong, skillful moderate medium or even easy choreo & hear the artist sing powerfully while seeing their emotions & enjoying their presence rather than have artists who have to lip sync because the choreo is too grueling while also being forced to do song after song with intense choreo that can often be out of the artists skill level, or look questionable after already performing several songs simply because the company wants to stay on trend.

i’d like to say both, because i once taught a group of kids in my dance class the choreo to got’s step back and even for non dancers they were really good and pulled off the moves well, i also tried this with other choreos and they seemed to pick up fast! so it just depends on the person and their experience really
