Lets face, along with the older Russian helicopters, the UH-1 Huey Helicopter belongs in DayZ. Before the disease and the infected zombies came to Chernarus, there was a war between Nato and Soviet forces, so there's a high likelihood that some of the old choppers would have been left behind.
In this video I showcase the two varients of the UH1 you get with this latest update to the RFFS Heliz Mod, and we also take the military skinned version for a spin.

Nightwolf has had the Huey in DayZ SA for forever, and his flies the best hands down, as similar to Arma 3 basic flight (not advanced for those who haven't played) as I've tested.

Nightwolf 's Huey is absolutely the best, his flies almost about the same as in A3 as you can possibly get in SA, the only reason why people sweat RF's is because they're free, but NW's fly the best, but that's why he charges 🤷‍♂️

The one thing I really hate about this mod is the collective lift controls instead of how every other game does it with pedals up and down. The collective system does not give me the control that I think it’s intended to give and it feels jarring as well. But still. A very beautiful mod

I hope the helicopters are a little easier to land now, I had this mod on my server and in testing, ever time I landed I crashed 😂😂, the flying part was fantastic though 👍👍

I love all the helpful content you have, ive been searching for a way to increase backpack sizes or edit the sizes of items in inventory so players can hold more. Is that only a modable thing for pc or could i get it rolling for my ps4 dayz server

Red Falcon has some great helis but the flight system sucks so bad.

Nightwolf has the best helicopters, and his Huey flies about as close as you can get to Arma 3 flight as you can get in SA, it's glorious.....I can fly 5-10m off the ground everywhere I go, fly underneath bridges and under the conveyor overpass tubes, I can do every crazy flight trick including crazy reverse takeoffs like I can in Arma....but not too many people use them because he charges, because they fly the best. 🤷‍♂️ If you want the best, you sadly need to pay.... I'd love it if BI/DayZ devs contracted him personally and worked together with him to get a vanilla helicopter into vanilla DayZ SA....but they won't, because they're lazy bums 😤
