How do compensators work?

@@an_toir I know about that one, but it's large. I'll probably go with the radian if SS still refuses to sell the micro comp separately.

Just the comp separately? There's no way to put it on a normal barrel. The P series comps go on via locking lugs on a different barrel. The end of the slides are different too to accommodate for the comp being on the end. They'd have to sell the whole slide assembly. If they sold the comp separately, you couldn't use it.

Boy you guys better release the barrell and comp for the CR920 separately before Radian releases their glock 43 model. A lot of us waiting for that and would just go with Radian if it comes out first

If you are a big man (240 lbs.) and you have been shooting for decades (1991 to present) do you really need a comp on a 9mm pistol? Asking for a friend. He would like to see slow mo head to head comparisons.

a comp reduces muzzle rise which allows for faster follow up shots. it does not actually reduce recoil so this is not a weakness solution, it is a speed solution.

Yup i agree with "true comp" vs "slide cut comps". My Custom P365x with a Radian Afterburner comp shoots noticeably flatter and has less recoil than my Xmacro with a slide cut "comp".
