I completely forgot I subscribed to you or even knew who you were, but going back into your videos now I see the can crusher sounds and the 30 second lets plays for Kitty0706, rest his soul. I just so happened to see this in my feed and figured "fuck it, I never really got into fonts despite my computer knowledge", and was absolutely floored by this. This is what I would expect by a channel with 100K+ subscribers with an already established viewer base, but instead here you are, sub 1000, explaining fonts better than I'm sure a college professor could, and this was less than an hour ago. Had I gotten to my computer and switched on KZbin just a bit earlier or later, I wouldn't have seen this masterpiece. Thank you.

Ridiculous how this video only got a couple hundred views over 2 years. It should be like half a million. Great fun and informative video! I finally understand why Windows recovery mode text SUCKS

wow! computer letters are weird. I tried pressing my face against the monitor to see the sub pixel aliasing but my monitor is probably a little too high res to do that without hurting my eyes

Just leave a little drop of water on your phone’s screen and look at it. It will magnify the pixels and you will see the pixels with their 3 colors 👀

Crazy shit. Is the reason some of the left side pixels appear yellow because red and green make yellow on a RGB computer monitor?

I never liked subpixel rendering. On screens with low enough resolution for it to have any meaningful effect I simply see the rainbow effect; which looks really distracting. Feels like looking through a very slight prism. And on screens with pixels that are small enough to not be able to see the color fringes like the ridiculously high resolution MacBook I have for work, you don't even really need antialiasing much less subpixel rendering.

If you stick a pin in your monitor don't you damage it? Update: yes. Yes you do.
