@13:06 My Pinay wife was 40 years younger. I never experienced any resentment or judging from PI peoples. Back in the US though we experienced lots of negative assumptiive behavior from American women. Men never, just envy. I'd tell those Karens their attitude is why we older esteablished and fed up men go to Asia where women still are women, not the obnoxius whales prevalent in the States.

@17:00 Worldwide and thoughout time, women always look for security, first for themselves, then for children they may have. It's well known that women marry up the social status not down. Men don't care nearly as much about status. We're visual animals. A beautiful poor girl is just as if not more desireable than some spoiled brat rich girl regardless of her looks.

Extremely interesting, educational and fair from you Pea, to show the “other side of the mirror”. Brownie points for you to present diversity, but also to give a voice to your males compatriots, that are often ignored on other channels. Once again you surprised, entertained and informed your lucky subscribers. Thank you for all your efforts. 👍😊

As an American, living in Bacong and in a relationship with a Filipino, this video was very refreshing. These 3 young men, gives me hope there is a bright future for this world. As a foreigner, it also upsets me when i see someone from another country, being arrogant and forgetting they are not in their country and need to respect the Philippines and the Filipino people. Blessings to these 3 young men.

Those guys have their head together. My Philippine woman is only a few years younger than me and I'm 57. So young age is not a priority for me. Also one other advantage Philippine men have is Japanese women are attracted to them. :-) Westerners wouldn't even be given the time of day from them. LOL

These guys are so polite that it’s obviously difficult for them to say anything negative about others. They value “telling it like it is,” but they’ve been thoroughly trained not to do so if it’s negative. They are as endearing as Filipinas. I wish them the best of luck in finding kind wives.

of course no native men like when foreign men come to their country and "take" their young women . that is a natural feeling/reaction , men in the entire world feel the same way . the best way to approach this issue as a foreigner is to show you are polite , not vulgar , and your intentions are good , not overstepping any bounderies of local culture and sort of blend in .

It occasionally happens and it is just embarrassing. He is very right with the good and bad in everyone. Have met both here, have met both in the Philippines. I've got some very good friends over there. Overall, the vast majority of Filipinos are absolutely awesome. The country as a whole is awesome. Miss it greatly.

It is not the money, the cash that most Filipinas are after. It is a way out of poverty and help for their family that they want. For the older men it is not a young beautiful body that we are looking for. The newness and excitement of any woman's body wears off with time. It is the feeling of being young again that a young woman gives to an older men. A new lease on life when we thought our life was winding down. It does not take long for love and respect to grow. Both parties need to be loved and respected. Both bring something much more meaningful to the relationship then money or sex.

My only 2 complaints about the Philippines are: 1. Internet is SLOOOOOOOW. I was there in 2018 and the best speed I was getting in Antipolo is 1.4Mbs. I guess I've been spoiled in the states with 1Gbs wired and 950Mbs on my phone. 2. Lack of etiquette with regards to waiting in line by only a few people. When pulling into a driveway to the mall for example, I have the right of way. Yet someone else would turn left right in front of me from the other direction. They won't even wait for me to complete my turn, but they will cut me off despite me being there first and I have the right of way. Then there are lines. I was ordering food at Greenich (I think that's what it's called) and this woman clearly jumped right in front of me and started to order. What's ironic is that the woman taking the order didn't call her out. She continued to take her order despite acknowledging me. I couldn't let this go. I got in between them and said, "Excuse, I am next. Why would you cut in front of me? And you, you saw that I was next yet you proceeded to take her order?" Neither of the women said anything. The woman that cut in line just said "Ah, ok". Same with the cashier. She just said, "What can I get for you?" No apology or acknowledging their mistakes. To add to that people were looking at me as if I'm the bad person. The instigator. I know this isn't all of the Philippines but in the 3 weeks I was there, it happened to me at least 12 times. People cutting in line. I called people out about 8 of those times. My wife was restraining me and telling me to "hayaan mo na". Such thing has happened to me in the USA. But not 12 times in 3 weeks! Filipinos pride themselves with good manners and respect. It sure doesn't show at certain times.

@@Mr-Clark It can be annoying to foreigners, when people jump the queue, and the slow internet is really frustrating, …BUT you need to remember that you’re in a poorer country than your own, and with that comes lower quality. You also need to adjust your high standards to the ways of a different culture. Don’t live there if you can’t adjust, or you will be unhappy and a constant embarrassment to your wife, and that will only damage your relationship.

Very good interview with these three gentlemen, they showed a lot of maturity. And they gave their true feelings and answers to your questions. Now on the other hand I have experienced issues with some of the not so intelligent men or the not responsible man I shall say. Because one of them joked about me being a grandpa to my wife. In the rest of the guys laughed when they won the basketball court. But I just looked at that as immaturity and a sense of ignorance. But honestly I didn't take it personal, but it made my wife very upset. Come to find out she knew those guys. And as a result of other things I'm no longer with her after I found out what she was doing for the whole 5 years we were together. Excellent interview with these guys I'm looking forward to the next one. Excellent Pea, as a Western man who has never been to the Philippines, YET ! I would be more than happy to spend time in the company of these fantastic young men. This is the first time I have heard the opinions of Filipino men. They have a great attitude and are very respectful towards others. You and there families should be really proud of these young men. I can’t wait to come to the Philippines as I think my nature would fit in perfectly there. You have such a beautiful culture and lovely people. We in the west could learn a lot from your culture. As for the attitude of, “we have the best country”, everybody THINKS they are from the best country. We should be looking to see and find what is great in every country. I really enjoyed listening to the guys, it lets us here there views and I really respected there views and thoughts. Great vlog guys and Pea should spend more time with you guys. RESPECT from the west. Another great vlog Pea.

Not sure why people insist on saying their country is the best. My immediate reaction is "oh really so you've explored everywhere else??" I just never understood that ignorant mindset as a U.S. citizen

@@greg2999 Insisting and rubbing in the face is an issue, but there are objevtive factors to grade countries. So there are top tier countries and low tier countries no doubt, but the arrogance is the problem. You should look up HDR (Human developpment Index) of certain countries.

I like Pol, he operates with confidence and has an abundance mindset. I wish more foreign men going to the Philippines had his confidence. I think every guy that moves here should make a Filipino best friend. I have a few, (besides the men in my family) and they really make my experience here better. It's good to have a local man's perspective and insight sometimes, often they see things that your Filipina may not. It's not hard to find guys with common interest in the city, well, at least it wasn't when I was in metro manila.

Thank you for sharing the male perspective. When I think of the Filippino man, the machismos culture of the Spanish come to mind.. I would say from my experience the males in the country are very considerate of me most of time. But when drinking with the alpha males there was some tension... But in all, I love visiting and enjoying the culture of the country.. It has made me a better person from the exposure. Something positive I can share with others here in America. Be Blessed Pea !

I absolutely loved this video, and I pressed 'play' with reservation; (because I have become so focused on the female perspective I guess) I couldn't surmise that I would glean so much insight and confirmation as to how Filipinas differ from other women, and in other ways stand under the same umbrella with all women. This was a very welcome surprise for me. Thanks Pea, and well done.

I have to tell you that as I’ve been watching your channel for some time I’ve noticed your confidence and skill at interviewing and keeping a good flow is continually improving. I’ve always enjoyed your work. I can also say that I am enjoying it more and more these days. Props to you. I look forward to watching you grow even more in the future. I will also say that I started working with Filipinos many years ago here in Silicon Valley. At the time I found that I had to be careful working with some (just some) Filipino men because they weren’t good at following through with a job. At the same time, I developed a great respect for Filipino women. They worked very hard. And, yes, they were also beautiful. I remember one Filipina early on that was here in the U.S. working and saving up so that her husband could join her here. Her diligence at work and faithfulness to her far away husband was simply amazing. It is because of her that I’ve always had a soft spot when it comes to Filipino women.

Pea. I am hooked on your channel. Hands down, you are the best!!! What I love so much about your channel is first and foremost you are a philipina and no subject (minus political issues) is off limits. Your content provides us foreigners with an accurate outlook of the life of Philippines. This is a classic example. Keep up the great work. (Still gloating over the 40s ladies interview, a masterpiece).

This was a good conversation! I wish I could have sat down with the four of you and had time to contribute to all of the topics covered. It's so hard now days to have a good heart felt talk between people with out getting offended. This coming from a 56 year old guy who is straight forward and honest. I don't believe in pulling verbal punhes. If you claim your an adult then be an adult one day I hope to make it to your country because I have many friends from the Philippines and deep down inside we know we are all the same.

Hello Pea, this is a great video. I’ve watched other videos and heard others saying that Filipino guys don’t like foreigners dating Filipinas. This is a great illustration of what Filipinos think in general about foreigners and not all Filipinos hate foreigners. I believe the Philippine culture is all about good hospitality, friendship.

I can't express how much I enjoyed this video. I would have thought that I, myself would enjoy your interviews with the women more but this one kept me focused. All three of the men were good but Pol was fantastic! He is definitely a 'keeper'. He was fun and straight forward. Full of life. Make sure he tells you what he shared with the other two about why Filipinas look for foreigners. I believe I know what he was saying to them and I suspect you guessed at the time or when you edited the video. Another great one Pea. Salamat po.

When Mrs. Rick and I were married about two years we went on our first trip to the Philippines together. While sitting on the Manila Bay Boardwalk enjoying a beautiful sunset, we found ourselves next to a couple of young, male students from the Philippine Military Academy. They were grousing in Ilocano about how insulting it was that Americans would come over to the Philippines and steal all the pretty girls away from them. They did not know that Mrs. Rick was also Ilocano. She whispered to me what they were saying, and I asked her how to say "let's go" in Ilocano. I stood up, held my hand out to Mrs. Rick, and loudly said "en tan." As we were walking away we could hear them exclaiming how horrified they were to know that I understood everything they said. 🤣🤣
