When i started really seeking the Lord and His truth I asked the Lord which translation i should study. I had been reading the message Bible, it was so easy to understand. But I felt in my heart to read KJV . Now I see why. These wonderful teachers like Bill Wiese and David Wilkerson, Charles Spurgeon and others I am understanding the meanings in the KJV. God is amazing. Everyday I still get amazed at His love and grace. Everytime i ask the Lord a question about His word’s meaning I find within a day or two a message about what I had asked the Lord. I don’t believe in circumstances. 🕊️🙏🙌❤️

When you quoted the Lord's prayer from the message bible the phrase "as above as below" instantly i recognized this occult phrase that was added to the Lords prayer! This phrase originated from an 8th century writing "the emerald tablet" and also was quoted by Helena Blavatski a well known occultist! This makes my blood boil. God's people need to wake up and know their God and know the wiles of the enemy. Our churches and bibles have been infiltrated by satanists, witches and occultists. we live in dangerous times.

It may be a certain translation of the Hebrew language, and God is stronger than the Devil, so we can put a positive spin on things...Holy Spirit will show us how. He wants us to be Rejoicing Always & not looking for reasons to be afraid. The idea of Jesus's prayer for His disciples is to convey this world comes from Heaven. Read Matthew 18:18 which shows that we can use our will & our abilities to change things down here to stop evil and further God's purposes. This Word shows how we can invoke King Jesus in the power of His JOY spirit to make things more Heavenly in spite of The Fall! I never heard of the Message bible you speak of. What is the background for it? People do like to go back to the original translations and translate it for themselves if they are able.

I too deal with lots of Spiritual warfare & have with family guess what some got Saved ..but that’s why you pray over home & anoint, pray , listen to worship music to keep you uplifted, talk to God tell him to help you.. I battle a lot but I talk to him just like regular convo he always helps & listen ..Also its so important to have prayer warriors around you to help uplift & encourage you ..Even the bible says “When two or more gather he is in the midst” make sure to find a church thats preaching the true Word ..Its not an easy walk but with Jesus we can overcome anything 🙏🏾

The turning point for me happened when Holy Spirit one day took me back in my mind to when I was a preteen in an abusive home hating my parents and listening to metal and feeling "powerful" when I was powerless over my life. That was the end of that. Of course it began with searching out the truth and wanting truth no matter how tough it was because I wanted to please God. Hope this helps bro, God will show you if you really want truth. It may take time but seek God in Jesus name on everything.
