Great encouragement and very wise words, Jed and Peter! Nothing comes without work. That old saying, "it takes 5% inspiration & 95% perspiration" really applies to our lives as artists... The attitude and mindset we come to this with is crucial. It will help tremendously if we can embrace the entire journey with a positive outlook! We end up wearing SO many hats as we learn about how to tackle the areas of business: technical aspects, marketing, finances, communication, fulfillment, meeting deadlines, etc., but all that we absorb along the way will stretch and grow us. It's part of the process-not just the creating. (Spoken from an artist that has been publishing illustrated educational materials for the past 22 years and has dealt with PLENTY of blood, sweat, and tears along the way! lol!)

I might be mistaken, but I think I came across some colour theory video on your channel explained by a woman artist. As I had no time to watch, I decided to do it later, but couldn’t find it. If I’m mistaken it would still be great to combine all your wonderful advice on colour theory in one video. I don’t want to buy a course (cannot be committed to anything taking a lot of time), but I would happily pay for one video as it’s the most important first step for me as a self-taught artist and probably many others.
