How do I remove "Ooops, your files have been encrypted!" popup? What is Wana Decrypt0r2.0? How to remove it?
Wana Decrypt0r ransomware's name is WCry, but is also referenced online under various names, such as WannaCry, WanaCrypt0r, WannaCrypt, or Wana Decrypt0r. Recently the WanaCrypt0r ransomware as it took the world by storm by causing major ransomware outbreaks at Telefonica, Chinese Universities, the Russian Interior Ministry, and other organizations.
Wana Decrypt0r Ransomware Using NSA Exploit Leaked by Shadow Brokers Is on a Rampage. When your PC infected with Wana Decrypt0r, the virus will extract an embedded file into the same folder that the installer is located in.
WanaCrypt0r will then download a TOR client from dist.torprojec... and extract it into the TaskData folder.
When a file is encrypted by Wana Decrypt0r, the virus will append the .WNCRY or .wnry extension to the encrypted file to denote that the file has been encrypted.

The purpose of the video is to help you remove the virus as it states. Apparently it's either not possible to decrypt the files or it's very hard. There's slso a lesson to be learned that if your files are backed up, you simply restore them back on your wannacry virus free computer and all is good.

People have already made free wannacry decrypters on github if you need it. They won't work all the time, you have to get lucky, but it's a huge list of prime numbers and it will work more than half the time.

Then how did a make a perfect decryptor? It's called DecryptNet. It decrypts files that these ransomwares encrypted: Rensenware Cerber Wannacry/Wannacrypt (as seen in this video) Tempo Ransomware (i think this is a real one, i saw this one when i was ransomware testing) It only works most of the time though, I tried it on Wannacrypt, And it exploded with message boxes saying, "Decryption Fail. This program may have a RSA-2048 bit encryption, or more." I tried it another time, And it worked. But only about 3 files.. I think it is possible..
