How does one enjoy marriage with Spouse who will NOT see the good, God-given things? His mercy is evident in our lives, but what if Spouse refuses to look for it, see it, receive it? It's as if Spouse has gouged his eyes out, not just put on dark glasses and it is heart-breaking.

That’s so difficult, friend. I acknowledge your pain. Your spouse maybe in a lot of pain too, whether they know it or not. Friend, if you can allow God to show you what is there, and for the power to pray for compassion for him/her, it does change things. Holy Spirit will change you even if your spouse does not change.

Pray for them, seek to do them good and bless them. Be foebearing and wait patiently on the Lord.
