I think apologetics is more important than a personal experience. I’m happy that you had a personal experience, but that doesn’t mean that’s for everyone. Apologetics is for everyone and it is much needed. Your personal experience might weird people out but providing solid scientific, historical, and philosophical evidence that the Creator and Jesus are real confronts people to make a personal decision for themselves. You could backslide tomorrow but the evidence for the Creator and Jesus will be here long after we’re gone, but it doesn’t do any good unless we make it public knowledge. That’s why it’s so crucial for the church to repent for its failure to teach apologetics. Keep in mind that I’m not saying that sharing your personal experience is not important.
