How To Know You’ve been Called into Ministry 1. Supernatural desire: Every nudge and desire must be investigated especially when the desire gets stronger after a season of prayer. You find yourself in love with serving. 2. Natural desire can also count but there are qualifications and requirements for that. 3. Service: When you’ve served and been able to discharge your duties in way that has helped you grow in that service which has made you more dependable. Acts 6. Many authentic ministries come by simple opportunities of service. 2 Kings 3:11. Service and proximity to a genuine call draws you into one. Col. 3:23-24 4. Capacity: Service usually builds capacity. 5. Ordination: Don’t just run off on your own. There will be always be an order, confirmations from other people. Just to add, a CALLED person can call you!

DAY 39. 100DOD HOW DO I KNOW I AM CALLED INTO MINISTRY? 1. Supernatural desire: Every single nudge should be investigated as a believer/man of the spirit. If a desire start grows after prayer, that's a sign right there. If you have such a strong desire for ministry. 2. Surprisingly, natural desire can also count. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you're in this category. Once you can fufill the conditions, e.g. being sober minded, being of a good behavior/character etc you're good to go though it might not be enough but it is something to start with. 3. Service: Service can journey you into ministry, simple opportunities to service can change a lot. 2Kings 3:11. If you serve God passionately, it can automatically draw you to ministry. Colossians 3:22-24. 4. Capacity: This flows from the third point of service, when you're in your place of service you build capacity. Take seriously every opportunity to build capacity. 5. Ordination: This means you shouldn't just run off on your way, there has to be confirmations.

Of course the truth is everyone is called differently, Bishop David Oyedepo's pattern wouldn't be similar to someone living in a typical village somewhere who has the call of God upon his life. Now in my own view, l have discovered one example which usually catches my attention any time this subject of call into ministry crops up. Now, to Elija, we knew nothing about his call into ministry. But his spiritual son Elisha we had his own documented. But what l really love is about the call of Jeremiah.... He started by saying that, "Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [5] Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. [6] Then said I, Ah, Lord God ! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. [7] But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. [8] Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. [9] Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth." Jeremiah 1:4-9 It's that simple. Now, l think that, biblical example should inspire everyone who desire to seek the face of God for direct confirmation before making any decisions toward ministry. The Holy Spirit can reveal it to you but how do you know that it's coming from the Holy Spirit? THE WORD. Now, the word of God is superior to all things including visions and dreams that we may have. By profiting from the word of God it's easier to know whether or not we're called into ministry. Now, Dr. Paul Enenche preached a powerful message on this subject of PROFITING FROM THE WORD OF GOD I have the video on my KZbin CHANNEL if you want to check ✅✅✅ it out you can do so. If a man wants to go into ministry, always the acid test is THE HOLY SCRIPTURES AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. The Holy Spirit must affirm His call upon your life by the Word.
