How do I manually calibrate the the Drager X-am 2500?

How do I take the batteries out and put new ones in? I already took the screw out but I can't get the batteries out of the battery holder

Hello, sorry for the late reply. You should loosen the screw (2.0 mm hexagon socket) on the power pack and remove the power pack. If it's an alkaline battery holder (order no. 83 22 237), you should be able to pull the batteries out from this, otherwise the NiMHy rechargeable batteries should be charged in the unit on a charging dock.

We recommend that you calibrate your gas monitor every 6 months. This will ensure the sensors in your gas detector are reacting to the target gas as expected. Thanks!

is it a fixed flow or a demand flow regulator?

Hi there, Sorry for the delay in the response. When manually calibrating the Drager X-am 2500 you require a fixed flow as demand flow regulators are used for pumped monitors. Hope this helps. - Callum
