How do I request a Special Education assessment?

What if the District refuses to evaluate a child?? This happens often.

You can appeal that decision. Contact your local parent training and information center to talk confidentially with someone on the staff. Parents Helping Parents is the training and info center for 5 counties in Northern CA: San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterrey. I don’t know if you can please help me out. I have disability since a little girl now that I’m trying to go back to school is really hard I went to the doctor already but they can’t help me out. Please let me know how can I help my cell phone so I can go to the right doctor for this?
