If you create the design yourself, you inherit copyrights legally automatically. If you use other elements such as canva or etsy, make sure the file allows for commercial use. Also, I would suggest keeping records of all files purchased and a screen shot showing commercial use allowed and just to keep record of your designs with the date stamped

I invested all my money I had into a blog because I didn’t know where to start. I wish I found this video last month. But I’m thinking of starting small with kdp journals and use my blog to create an audience for when I invest in my stationary business. Is that a good plan?

That can definitely work! The biggest thing is to promote and launch properly so that you get the sales you desire. That’s a great low cost option.

I love this video. I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum. I'm a crafter and bath and body maker, I had purchased a cinch over a year ago and just used it two weeks ago when my niece wanted me to buy her two shadow workbooks but I decided to make her a personalized one instead. Yes you can set up your LLC or corporation through your state. Check out your secretary of state website to see how the process and costs. Yes you can use supplies and things and write them off under your business at tax time.

Be careful with lulu. I've been doing research and they have a lot of bad reviews. Orders coming back incomplete with extremely long shipping times. It's not a good look for us entrepreneurs.

Hi thank you for the video, however, how do you make any profit? That notebook is $13.00 roughly to make and ship. Do I need to charge $30 for my notebook?!

Yes definitely a great question. In order to make a decent profit you would have to charge quite a bit more. This video is really for someone that's just wanting to get started and has limited options. This would allow them to get started right away. There are tons of options out there and I focused on this one but so many ways to get a better profit margin and be able to charge less.
