How do you ever get those RTC modules to work? I got 6 of them from Amazon and can't get any of them to work since the 32 KHz crystal doesn't oscillate and the ds1307 doesn't do anything! I tried replacing the crystal on one of them but that didn't make any difference. I wonder if they were all made with counterfeit clock chips or what is going on with them?

Ive got my module working but my code no matter what i do doesnt allow me to store the correct time on the module while its disconnected from power.

@@lightyagami3492 The built in examples let you set and then display the time in the monitor so it should work if you have a good battery but I still got no display.

What modifications did you make in order to get the I2C LCD screen to work? I am attempting this project and seem to be missing something, the Serial Monitor prints as you show but when I switch to LCD.Print it does not print as yours. I heard you say you modified the code to dial it in, I am wondering what it was you had to do.

But if I sell this clock how can the user set the winter and summer time?

they can't, unless you add button to let the user set the time

Around 1-2 years , it actually depends upon the temperature

This is really stupid since he never tells what sketches he used or anything so we can duplicate it! Two thumbs down!😝😡💩
