How do Irish burglary gangs really operate?

A notorious burglary gang headed up by the son of ‘Fat’ Andy Connors have been nabbed again after they were caught with a car load of burglary tools.
John Connors who featured on the UK’s crime watch show was arrested with Thomas Wall who both now face more time in prison after their latest run in with police.
But how do Irish burglary gangs like Connors outfit remain in business given their reputation and prolonged targeting by Gardai? Are they simply moving jurisdictions in order to stay one step ahead of the law? How do they target households and how quickly can they get in and out with your jewels?

I am not being arrogant Nicola, I love your site,.The best way to stop the profits from burglary is when people stop buying stolen goods. Our house was broken into over forty three years ago and lovely little pieces and memorabilia taken, plus cash, as people kept cash on hand back then. Who ever bought my lovely bracelets is as much a criminal as those who sold them.

My house was turned over twice in three months...So I got a four legged security system called Max (A German Shepherd) fully trained in home / personal protection and after word got around to the scumbags, I could then go to work knowing the house was safe...

I think if they came across a dog ,probably would kill it if they go into houses with people in ,there's a big chance they wouldn't know or bother about a dog .

Traveller gangs, as in gangs of Travellers... thats what theyre called. That's how they afford all the fancy cars and houses despite never working a day in their life. Still collect their dole every week that we all pay for though 👍

They are scumbags, who don't care about the impact of their crime on the victims. Those who buy stolen goods should receive prison sentences. The gangs who are prolific in breaking into people's homes and have numerous convictions. They need locking up for a very long time. The judiciary is to lenient handing down sentences.
