Wow, despite growing up on the coast, I’ve never even heard of a king tide! I’m writing a sci-fi/fantasy trilogy and was just brainstorming today about how to portray the tides on my four-moon planet haha. From an ecological perspective, I think it will be really interesting to see the evolutionary effects climate change has on the areas that will be hit hardest in the beginning of “the end” (intertidal zones, coastal regions, boreal and polar regions, etc.) since there will be so much environmental pressure in the years to come. I mean…extremely sad, but I’m trying to be objective so I don’t spiral into depression about the climate crisis 😅🙃 Thanks for the info (and inspiration)!
