SBMM is a problem - its prioritised over your connection (you'll be sent to a further away lobby that matches your skill level more) and it incentives staying bad at the game since any improvement means you have less and less enjoyable experiences.

Unfortunately, they won't let me into the lobby. It won't start any server in warzone 2. It starts searching for a server with 35MS ping, then jumps up to 66MS and stops. It just says Searching for a match. What could be the problem?

I dont understand. I tried the AFK method after a warzone solo I did, I went "afk" not clicking anything, the game threw me out in the HQ searching for a new game..... from scratch.... I guess that is not the same as going into a LOADING SCREEN directly from a game

The 3rd party app he's talking about for in-game stats doesn't have access to the API. It keeps its own database of matches, kills, etc from people who use the app (and therefore anyone in their lobbies). While the stats aren't complete by any means, it's plenty enough for lobby shopping. How does it know tho's in the game? Not through an EPI, but gets the list of active players and their stats/kills because it accesses in-game memory which is why it's actively targeted by Activision.

In WZ2 I used the AFK trick. It would put you in a lobby with all the other AFKers and bots, so first thing you did was go to the end of the plane drop and shoot all the AFK players. I've tried this about 3 times in WZ3, but it doesn't work like that anymore. Maybe they increased the time you need to be AFK in the previous lobby, since I only ever waited at the end of a game if I died near the end, I wouldn't wait like 10 or 15mins if I died in the middle of the game. You must be desperate for an easier lobby if you're willing to wait that long. If SBMM and Ranked worked properly, you should never have to worry about it, because most the time you shouldn't run into people loads better than you, yet it happens all the time. Are there very few bad or new players left, so 90% of players are really good, so the chances of you running into them are high???

The auto play feature gave you insane bot lobbies in wz2 resurgence. Seems like normal lobbies now besides a few afk kids. Too many people know about the “map lock” method

lol, a good ping back in Call of Duty (2003) to Call of Duty 4 was 50. Any higher and you had to lead your target (like in real life). Now my ping is around 30 and when I do play those old Call of Duty games my ping is down in the 20s. From what I remember playing on the Historians Call of Duty United Offensive server my ping is around 15. Man, the things I would do to have a 20 ping in 2003 would get kind of weird.

If a player solo queues they should automatically get their closest couple servers. Seems almost illegal for activision to constantly put me in Mexico servers or Deep South when I’m living in minnesota. Everybody speaks Spanish when I solo queue 🗑️

In the end a lot of things are just absurd if you think about them. -Buying an extra console + xbox live subscription or paying extra for 3rd party software like VPN to enjoy a game that's supposed to fun on it's own to begin with. -Activision not allowing you to know what kind of lobby you're in so you can decide if you want to spend your precious time there. -Activision not allowing you to know the criteria they use to calculate SBMM. A lot of secrecy and manipulation going on for something thats supposed to be fun and relaxing 😅😅

Streaming ruined gaming. They even go into casual lobbie on other games for footage. Imagine having a sweat button at your disposal to push any time. Yet all of them at a tournament play like poo. I honestly believe it's fueling cheating. Just to get some kills or even close to the end circle where the pro is.... cheating is almost a must. Imagine playing a game and never getting a victory. They are out there. Now, these guys have made hacking on V.R. starting to become common. Soon, just to get people to play, the streamers will have to play as a group or pay players to play. We all have to admit that games are no longer fun or relaxing as a short pastime.

And when you pop out they are already locked onto you. I've seen many kill cams where their aim stays on me even 3 buildings over, and they move faster than humanly possible.
