I'm so excited I love watching y'all videos. I have some kharabi seeds and I cannot wait to plant them. I have not listened to your last podcast because I save those for when I actually work outside in my garden hahaha but here in Central Texas is 30 degrees and feels like 18 degrees and we are getting a freeze front heading our way so I won't be able to work in the garden for the next 4 to 5 days but I will listen to a podcast when I do. Right now I had to cover all of my newly planted fruit bushes and my strawberry bed. They were starting to produce a lot of fruit and it has a frost blanket but I also threw in an extra blanket over it as an experiment to make sure that the ice does not get to them. Since it's an experiment we shall see how they go and come along. Y'all take care and God bless and keep on doing a fabulous job at your farm

I just recently found your sight & love it. My daughter and I lived on a hobby farm for 12 years before my health couldn't deal with it anymore. We had Suffolk sheep and Nubian goats, orphaned calves, piglets, and any other babies we'd at livestock auctions. At one time I was milking 10 goats so I certainly understand sore hands. I was wondering why you don't have any cows or guinea hens? Guineas are the best guards ever. Keep up the good work and enjoy everything you do.

Hello we are German and eat Kalarabi . We peel it cut it in small pieces. Add to pot of wat to barely cover the Kalarabi. Cook like you would potatoes. Don't draian all the water after it get soft. Add butter salt and pepper. Then eat. Omg the best. Great with meat beef. And cucumbers salad.

Ok tell me your secret of how you keep all the animals enclosures so clean? Would you post a video of how you clean their enclosures and what you put down for their bedding and if you use lime or anything for smells? I learn so much watching your videos and pod cast and I’m in training for when we buy a farm. We have six chickens now and your videos have helped us so much with them and we started getting eggs a month ago in the cold winter here in Virginia thanks to what I’ve learned from y’all.

Two stories about goats....and pigs. 1. When my brother was young he developed a stomach issue, my parents gave him goat milk and he started to handle food better and his stomach got better. 2. We cleared a 2 acre hillside that was covered thick with blackberry briars, using only goats and wiener pigs. The pigs chewed and dislodged the root and the goats ate the vines and leaves. Our neighbor brought over his goats 15-20 of them and we went to an auction and got 10 or so pigs and added them to our own 5 pigs we had.
