How Do the Packers Keep Getting Away With It??? Jordan Love may actually be the Packers 3rd straight Hall of Fame Quarterback that they drafted. Use code THATSGOOD120 to get $120 off across your first 4 boxes of Good Chop at bit.ly/42WYUtM

From Brett Favre, to Aaron Rodgers, to Jordan Love the Green Bay Packers have a formula for drafting and developing NFL quarterbacks, and it’s hard to argue that it’s not perfect. Love has the Packers in position for the playoffs with a very young offense.

It’s because it’s community owned or fan owned. Wanna know another really good sports team that’s owned exactly like that. FC Barcelona. The Green Bay packers are a publicly held non profit corporation. Non-profit is music to my ears. The club does not allow corporate ownership. They are actually the only team allowed this exception cause they have been a public non profit since 1923. That’s right 100 years and they were granted the exception because they were a non profit since before the NFL allowed corporate ownership. It’s not about money. Obviously they need to make money to be an NFL team but they are about community, football, and winning.

Jordan Love had this team's trust and loyalty the whole season, and he's continuing to trying to build relationships with his teammates, especially his receivers. This is only his first season as the starter so there is still a lot to see with him. But what I will say that helps the Packers land consistent QBs is time. Packers don't draft QBs when they NEED a QB, they draft QBs for the future when their current franchise QB is still active. Rodgers at behind Favre for a few seasons, learning the offense, learning the NFL, seeing how a HOF QB plays. Jordan sat behind Rodgers for a few seasons and did the exact same thing. Packers QB aren't starting their rookie season. Most rookie QBs fail for this reason, they aren't ready and they don't even get the time to get ready. If that rookie QB sucks for a season and a half he's done. He's drafted to a bad team with likely has a bad OL, mediocre or bad defense, and maybe 1 target to throw too. Packers have a draft formula and it works out. Same happens with them at WR.

I’ve been a Packers fan since the Ice Bowl in 1966. I was so happy to see AR-12 go to the NYJets! He had become a whining, self-centered, HOF dude incapable of winning the big game of the NFC Championship. The loss to Tampa Bay was just over the top. The public discussion of his use of hallucinogenic drugs and alcohol drinking combined with his ridiculous contract convinced me that it was time to try anyone else out at QB. Hopefully JL-10 will work out and he won’t start sharing about his private life. I’m hopeful.

It has a lot to do with playing in Green Bay, Wi. Remember folks Brett Farve was run out of town by the Atlanta Falcons for partying like it was 1999. When he got to Green Bay he was told if you mess this up it's back to farming in Mississippi.

I think it helps that Love’s receivers are just as inexperienced as he is. Nobody can point fingers or act like they’re better because they’re more experienced. It’s everyone’s fault and everyone success, it’s truly a team effort on offense.

Not all of us fans. Rodgers had the 2nd of 2 consecutive seasons of sub "Rodgers" quality of quarterbacking!! It wasn't until AFTER we drafted Love, that Rodgers had the 2 MVP seasons!! I'm TOTALLY in on getting another QB, BEFORE we need one!!!

I just love the fact that Perna was so ready to pass judgment on Jordan love. Which kind of shows you how the Broncos seem to evaluate QB Talent. I'm pretty sure we're seeing Denver in the midst of their QB Purgatory which will probably continue for the rest of Patrick Mahomes career hopefully lol

This is what the Lions plan is with Hendon Hooker. Hooker would have likely been a late first rounder if it weren’t for his ACL injury in college last year. Goff is only under contract through the end of next season, which ultimately gives Hooker two full seasons to sit and learn behind Goff before getting the nod.

Mfs act like he didnt sit for a couple seasons under Rodgers. He watched, asked questions, took notes and practiced like he was in the game. Green Bays just got the rhythm down. Franchise QB, draft their replacement early, let em sit behind a great for a little bit and then give em the reigns.

I love Jordan! I think the problem with Rodger is he didn’t try to build a relationship off the field with his young WR. Love doing this off the field stuff is effective and if he keeps doing this the guys around him will play better. You could see the miscues early but after that Love made the decision to get closer with them all

One thing that could be said for Green Bay is that with Favre, Rodgers, and Love, Green Bay has basically sat them all (with the exception of Favre, who was sat down by Jerry Glanville for a year). They all three had a chance to watch a veteran. In the old days, that's what good teams did with high round draftee QB picks. Free agency makes that much less possible now, but in Green Bay's case, it's worked out that way. This didn't completely change until the 1990s when free agency more or less took its current form.

As a packers fan, I was ecstatic when they drafted him. Loved the little bit I saw on tape and stats wise from him in college. Was laughing when everyone kept bashing him for his receivers dropping the ball or causing ints in pre season games and even during their skid this season. The way I see it if you have a HOF ahead of a QB you NEED to allow him to learn for a few years and then allow him at least 3 seasons as a starter before you throw him out and allow guys to have the same coaches for atleast those three years before firing them, IE baker mayfield and Cleveland comes to mind with that. But we will see what he is in a few seasons and I’m excited with how young and good this team is!!
