HOW DO THEY DO.. HOW TO OVERHAUL FUEL PUMP SUCTION VALVE FOR MAN B&W ENGINES..

Fuel pump suction valve should be maintained properly to achieve efficient
Performance.
Suction valve should be maintained as per makers instruction.
During the suction stroke the spring loaded suction valve opens and the delivery valve is filled with oil.
This opening closing will go efficient as far as the valve maintenance is done regularly..

Wen the suction valve leaks.. Either you can find via telltale hole in some designs or else ur pcom will be reduced..

Actlly I also had the same view but the video didn't specify it hence wanted to clarify... If I am correct it is the pressure which pushes the seals and helps sealing surfaces

With respect please change the sealing ring up side down. Spring side of sealing ring must be placed on pressurised side. (Spring face according to cut off hole)

No need to heat it as we use tool to install these seals...

Hi sir i have doubt ones we put in wrong way the sealing ring how to remove it back and put again. do we have any special tool or else simply use screwdriver to pull up

If u put it wrong then we need to remove it, while removing seal will get damaged .so u need to renew it..
