Very much like a Nike SB Dunk - The DC Manteca 4 Skate Shoe has landed in a skate shop near you - or they have in Australia anyway. DC skateboarding shoes usually provide reliable and affordable skate shoes and in today's video, we go over my review and wear test of the DC Manteca 4 skate shoes.

Nice looking shoes Damo, I recently bought a pair of baggy DC jeans. Good to see 90s fashions come back, I've noticed even a lot of non skaters rocking that look. I've been skating white Etnies Faze and Converse Pro CTAs, even though I've told you before 😉. DC just released some Star Wars styled shoes, the orange Luke Skywalker pair looked awesome. I'm kind of povo at the moment but they looked too nice to skate in anyways. More of a collectors item me thinks.

@@Damoforce they fit nice but they're a bit thin. I wore them out one night and I was feeling the cold but the reverse of that is when skating you feel not like you're overheating.

You should skate the super suede version because that’s the actual skate version of the shoe with more “technology”

Good review, I just noticed how "the other version ;)" of the shoe actually features a different rubber for the outsole. Not very clear in the Au site, the UK one reads: "Super Rubber Outsole" on the 2 colorway version, rather than "Abrasion-Resistant Sticky Rubber Outsole" on this one... and we know that sticky means soft.

i have the blue and white pair i dont skate but theyre so comfy and so padded compared to regular shoes i love them, thick tongue and even the toebox is padded when u lift up ur toes

I would have loved that colourway, they look sick as and year. So comfy!!

@@Damoforce yeah and ive heard the blue and white pair has better feeling materials because theyre leather, the leather is actually pretty decent for the price

@@wavydane I was quite happy with the super suede material. Stitching a bit meh. But these shoes are solid value. Looking forward to more colourways

The Force 58 are also a solid option. The DC maybe a little better impact wise.

Prob medium on the scale of board feel. More than a dunk if you've skated them.

I have skated 30 years now n skated all kinds of shoes but now and since there’s clearance stores been skating vans but crave a wide toed cupsole. Overall lately been skating 5he vans wavee and though ugly they skate really good so far I rotate like 10 shoes but they’re the only ones that don’t kill my arch or ankles from slappys etc. I just saw the metrics and so I’d say try those or wavees please!

I can’t quite feel these shoes. I don’t know if it’s the colourway or if they just look too thin? Have you tried the Lakai Telfords? Not that I have but they are on the Dunks lookalike train too.

Yeah those Telfords are very nice in the looks department. I tried some on. I found that it was too tight in the width.

@@Damoforce Yeah I just looked at some after I wrote that comment and they do look a bit skinny. I do think the different Dunks do look better but they don’t look half bad.
