game changer for me. lol i 'have been taking my phillips dream station with out the water revivor. and to powe it i use a jackery 160. i was able to find the 12 volt cord and 2 adapters to make it work. i get ( depending on temperature) 16 to 24 hours out of 1 charge. but the weight of everything is about 6 or 7 pounds.

Simple - you demand the doctor get you a mouthpiece, which is better than nothing, or else you're just not going to use it for days, weeks, or months on end. I've been trying to get this through their head since the VA rammed a CPAP down my throat. It's important to remember that CPAP is wildly overused; almost no one goes to a sleep study that doesn't get one, and since the companies charge $1500+ for a device that really is worth about $200 - it's just an obsolete interface screen, a simple control, an air pump, a power supply, and a cheap plastic case - they really want you to take one and will absolutely insist you need it over and above any other possibility. In my case, all it took was a cheapo at home sleep study (the study device itself kept me awake all night) and they just wanted to throw the thing at me without even talking to a doctor, just some young dingbat technician. The entire thing is a farce - sure, they work for some people but it is a brute-force solution to a problem that no one wants to investigate further because they can just keep pumping out overpriced "medical appliances" to people whether they work or not.
