That's a good internal debate for me. What I'm trying very hard to do is break the pattern and turn my "creations" valuable to others so it also serve as a content/services/products. Sometimes its impossible tho. I feel like once you break through and get a good amount of audience, you can get always with doing more "creations" than content because people already like you not matter what. Doing that way, we accept that our business will take longer to get going but once it does - it explodes.

yea totally, it’s almost like “helpful advice”/“showing the process of making something” and then “actually making something cool”…at least that’s how i’m kind of starting to think about it

Struggled with this as well. I have recently been leaning more into sharing what I am doing and who I am working to become vs. just creating for views/clicks/engagement being the only driver.

that’s great! yea totally - the “why” matters - who you are becoming/who you are helping vs. getting views. i know which “why” im picking every day of the week 🤝

how do YOU balance “content” and “creation”…? lmk here ⬇️

Do you think it is more of a harmony then a balance. It is waves of one and then the other sometimes 70/30 sometimes 50/50 sometimes 20/80 the other way...

hmmm, depends how you define balance, i suppose. i like to think of balance as a moving thing, kind of a harmony in the way you described it. it definitely goes in waves, a fluid movement between content and creation. for me the creation is more fun and exciting, but the content feels more like work. but you kind of need both in order to give the full picture of what you’re making/doing is what i’ve realized
