Very old video, but it is interesting. The Valencia's new stadium never opened. It has more than 11 years behind schedule. It might get finish between 2023-2025; twenty years later after construction started.

"Spanish top flight soccer outfit Valencia have accepted a US$128 million offer to purchase the land where the club’s stadium is located from local co-operative ADU Mediterráneo in a deal that will restarts the club’s new stadium construction." and, "Valencia’s director general, Mateu Alemany, confirmed that the club had accepted the offer, “Being realistic with the figures, we predict the stadium will be ready for the 2022-2023 season," Alemany said.

With the tech we have anymore I feel maybe not forcing but offering screens that someone could have access to before entering the proper escape routes if they choose that way you have a good idea of what to do and where to go if need be...

I work as an usher for a baseball franchise and part of my job is to make sure our fans are safe and obeying the rules. We don’t even allow vaping inside the stadium and we’ve had to eject people for being disruptive or ignoring our orders about not smoking.

I think, asian people "mostly" changed perception about stadium architectur (especially far east). With "unique" but "noob" design, the owner just priority art and attendance, not safety. Ya... contohnya itu ada di sangkar burung itu, sadion sangkar burung. Untung saja negaranya bebas dari jalur cicin api dunia.

Please stop your stereotypical views of inferior Asian structure. Considering the far larger populations of Asian nations, the stress on the infrastructure means that inferior build is likely to cause the structure to collapse faster, don't you think? And less likely to stay up? Personally, I feel that stadium architecture has traditionally never considered organizational and crowd behavior, because engineers can design for all contingencies, except overcapacity and frequency resonance design. This is one thing I think Asian stadiums triumph over western ones.

Thank you. I was trying to Google it because thought it would have been open close to 10 years by now. I did not know the name and just looked up Valencia stadium and it said it opened like 1916 or something. So, I was like that doesn't sound right and was futilely just looking for the stadium. Seems like they spent a lot of money and labor on it too.

Actually almost every country around the world call "soccer" football, only people from a few countries (such as the U.S .) call football "soccer." It'll be good for you to get out of your bubble once in a while ;)
