Fun Fact: This was the first episode with an audience after they had to film without during covid. I know because I was there in front row, right by the turtle. It felt very special

There is no video on youtube seemingly that does not include sleazy, presumably middle-aged men commenting on a woman on the show. You know you can keep these comments to yourself? You know that they are sexist, right? Yes, they are. It's sexist to constantly judge women on their looks. Yours, a middle-aged man, who is privately sleazy (as one should be).

Little known fact, although the world turtle racing championship was held in 1974, the bulk of the contestants didn't show up until 1975 because.... well, I should think it's obvious.

Pacific leatherback turtle is fast when scared. Tortoises are one of the slowest species of turtle.

The expectation is that the tortoise is going to be left in the will to be cared for by someone else. But his mum thought he had to leave something to the tortoise in the will eg a house

As in "what possessions are you going to leave to it?" As if the tortoise would inherit something, instead of the tortoise being put on the will as a pet to be taken care by someone and being passed down to somebody else.
