That coin is likely also a vertical clip. They still exist in SMM2, but are much more patched and niche. It's very rare for them to see in the wild due to less interesting they have become but they can be still nightmarish because of how few people know of them. (Frequency is low)

For the first pixel perfect lineup there is a duck strategy that can be used to get it easily. First line up against the wall, hold and run, then duck at the right time. If you pressed duck on the right frame you’ll be perfectly lined up to make it through the spike. This works when a wall is 2 blocks away from a lineup
