Depends on its player , upscroll is same as down scroll but flipped from y-axis / -y-axis (or Opposite) , so anyways , it depends on the player.

Just personal preference ngl I remember the first time I saw someone play with downscroll, I was very surprised at how much easier the game looked, and so I started using it and I played the game way better with downscroll than with upscroll. Nowadays I always play with downscroll and if I were to use upscroll, I'd probably be terrible XD I think one big reason is that when using upscroll, my fingers kinda cover the notes on the screen so I can't see them properly
